We have to get rid and bring in someone who knows how to play these types of games.

Im absolutely fed up to f*ck, cheers Jim!!
I'm more on about an experienced midfielder to complement Camara. I've seen Sibbald, Stephenson, Eskesen and Sevelj in the centre. Stephenson does well in the middle but then having Strain at right back isn't good imo. Sibbald is a braw player but because he is Scottish and getting on a bit doesn't suit the player trading model. Sevelj is a defender in midfield worked well last year when we had Scottish centre-halves and Manny to defend but how can he keep getting starts? Eskesen a young midfielder as a number 10 or a defensive midfielder can't say I see anything that makes him a stand-out. The fact that he was in disagreement with his last club I wouldn't have signed him on that. Players do well, they get a move. Players that think they know better should be left at their present club. Pappoe hasn't been replaced.

Gomis and Buaben were a good combination. You get that right you are sorting a crucial part of the team. Goodwin has phucked it up and the defence and goalie situation is of his own doing. Seeing Richards in the last three matches, why was he signed? Competition for places is what pushes performances imo. Goodwin with his recruitment has got it horribly wrong and that is on him.

I think that we look like we are OVER coached. It is all walking pace and pass the ball...no creativity....no flair...no bravery. It is just the same old weak beige sh1te every week. Everyone of those players is looking for someone else to take the risk or to do something special. When our main goal threat is Craig Sibald...then we are really clutching at straws. Camara and Traps (occassionaly) at least give us an outlet. I think the galling thing with this match and the Falkirk game is that we went down so easily without ever laying a glove on them. The work ethic and constant diving to try and win penalties just shows that we have run out of options and we are looking for an easier way to score a goal. The whole team needs a rocket up the erse and the manager needs to lose the head with a lot of them. On a side note...Ferry has dropped so far off his game and his body language suggests that he thinks it's everybody else's problem and not his...if he is unhappy, let him leave....if he thinks that he isn't part of the issue, then he needs dropped!
We need to get lucky in the transfer window!

Goodwin saying Camara out with hamstring for a few weeks (which will prob be a month then), thought of our slow midfield, marshmallow centre halves, and calamity no2 in goal scary. How can we be be in same position of having terrible keepers so soon again after our recent relegation season. Those two back to back home games v Killie and Livi, and then Falkirk h, Killie a - those double headers were absolute key to determining which direction our season was going.

The first goal is probably the easiest goal St Mirren have scored since the last time they played us.

Once again, a team on a bad run get a result against United - has always been thus.
Disappointed in Zac for hitting the deck looking for a penalty. It would have been interesting to see what he could have set up if he had just continued his run.

I'm more pissed off with his miss tbh, still can't believe he didn't score that, especially after his goal on Wednesday.

Yes, after Wednesday you would think that if anyone would have the sense to chip it over the keeper it would be him, but no?

But to choose the cheating option of trying to win a penalty, rather than keep playing and go for goal - that's more disappointing for me.

The worst thing about it is that St Mirren didn't have to do much to earn that win yesterday, they were gifted 2 soft goals and although we were slightly better in the 2nd half we just huffed and puffed without really creating much. Camara was a huge loss and will be sorely missed during this hectic month and we really need to bench the 2 big kale pots at the back, thon Kerestes is fkn hopeless, losses his man every time and Iovu not much better.

Story of the season, soft goals, honking goalkeeping, add to that a pedestrian midfield when camara doesn't play. Onus on the manager to either coach the defence to improve or make changes, if manager doesn't think Sam Harding is good enough to get one minute of action in this current defence then let him go for his career.

It worked for the Huns so why not? And besides there looked like contact but again VAR stayed out of it.

Suppose the big difference was this chance was on his left foot. When I watched it on the highlights, looked to me like it was crying out to shimmie the goalie and go round the keeper on the right. Paul Sturrock was good at that, dummy the keeper and go round him, rarely see it these days.
