Anyone think we can beat them?

  • #2
Yip.... In sayin that..Seemingly , their new pitch (all be it brand new) is even worse than their last one in it's dying days (like a winter golfers tee-off)

They haven't won in the last 6 games, (one draw I think) Bottom of the league on merit

Mon tae United, please don't make it us (we do hae previous)

    1-0 us. Fingirz crossed.

United could win this. We are set-up to win games............ Stephenson in for Watters probably. Who will get an injury from this shocking surface?

I?m thinking the same with Stephenson in for Watters

Also could see a central defender swapped out for Dolcek

SCH and Stirts in, hopefully works, feel a bit uneasy with sch to the right of bert and not Graham if he was fit, resting Iovu , Fatah and Sevelj

Livi full of experience too, McGowan, Wilson, Pittman, Sylla

          Richards
          SCH Esselink Keresztes
          Naamo Luca Sibbald Ferry
          Sapsford Stirton Traps

We're playing football here. 0-1 HT
            Night and day.

Just need that second goal our superiority deserves.

Stirton and Sapsford holding the ball up intelligently. Zac takes his goal so well, like all great strikers he doesn't need time. Brilliant.
Good press, Sibbald enjoying a great first half.

Only negative is May realises Richards is a bag of nerves. We're probably going to need another goal.

Well done Goodwin. Great to be on the first foot from the off, more of this please. Great to have a win on that sh!tty plastic. Fantastic to have actually won in Livingston in the league since 2005.

Hope the Nammo injury isn't serious. Been impressed with him.

Lets have more away wins more frequently in 2026.

It's great when we approach a game positively to win and show how what we can actually play.

I really enjoyed that tonight, glad I went, was expecting a stinker tbh. Lots of really good individual performances and good football. Was starting to get a little nervous 20 mins to that we hadn't killed off the contest, was hard to see what happened at the time we scored the second.

Incredibly that is our first top flight win on plastic since beating Hamilton in Apr 2021. Then again, it’s not incredible- the surface is total schite.

I think Livi were extremely poor last night and gifted us more opportunities than we normally would have got. We should have been much more clinical in front of goal and there was a part of the game at 1-0 where we retreated and brought a lot more pressure on ourselves. We need to get better at killing teams off! Livi however, look like they will 100% be relegated and are more than likely to keep going with Martindale until it's too late, which could be a blessing for our team and keep us away from the automatic relegation place. Getting a comfortable win should hopefully help with the confidence and the introduction of the academy boys should hopefully give some of our under performers a wee kick up the erchie! We really need a big performance against the Fun to make sure we kick on and get further up the table...as it is going to be tight between finishing top 6 or in the play off spot!
