That is not how we will be playing all season. The context is us having an energy sapping game on Thursday night with not many options to freshening this up. While Hearts had a full week to prepare with even McInnes acknowledging they had an advantage going in to the game. All 3 teams playing in Europe this week had disappointing results at the weekend. I don't think that is a coincidence.

I'm personally excited about this team and once the fixture congestion and injury situation eases I think we are going to be a good team to watch. The signs are there. Thought Fatah looked good when he came on and Dolcek is going to be an exiting player and its novel to to actually have someone who will be dangerous with free klicks around the box.

I thought it was quite a good game; obviously apart from the result. The refereeing was pretty one sided in terms of awarding of petty fouls, I have no idea why Viko got booked for what seemed like two players challenging for the ball. Penalty again not so sure; the whole grappling nonsense has to stop, but I would say Findlay was leaning into it as much.

Dolcek showing that he will be a good player for us, although won’t get that performance every game; but given the chance he will unlock defences. Fatal definitely looks like a speed merchant.

Thought MT had a decent game and Camara although looks awkward at times seems to be the pivot. We need to believe a little bit more and not sit back and invite the pressure as good as the 3 big lads have been.

Apart from some stray and backward passing things look promising.

Again, simply have someone near post and we get a point that our efforts merited on the day, that's the frustration, team gave everything but lost it on a set play the wasnt even a good delivery, just needed cut out

Excellent support yet again and great vocal backing

That was harsh yesterday, given our exertions Thursday and injury crisis we didn't deserve that, but given how poorly we defended the goals we did deserve it, if that makes sense.

That squad is absolute cronic at the moment, my fear for Thursday is it bites again after 60-65 minutes if it's in the balance, one of rapids subs that came on was a 30+ capped Austrian international.

Rapid kept causing us problems with similar front post corners.

I actually thought it was a really good game, both teams have a bit of quality about them. Both goals from corners were totally avoidable though. Very frustrating and left a real sour taste in the mouth at the end. Compounded by going outside and a lot of the Hearts fans saying they had no idea how they won that.
