The red card is a joke, everything that is wrong with football, it's a physical sport, the pen is a joke too. The guy Intentionally stays down long enough hoping to get VAR to intervene. The var then bottles it and gives in, then the ref then bottles it and gives in. We are going to have non contact sport soon. Camara just stupid unfortunately for his red. Even then hearts guy reaction is embarrassing, could easy have stayed on his feet. Didn't realise just how poor the first goal was from our view, not sure why Ross Graham isn't going to cut that out. Before that we must have worked three good positions to put balls in the box, and failed miserably every time.

Absolute joke, the officials tonight, must be mad to want them up with the league

Tonight is not on Goodwin or the players, poor opening goal apart

Last night starts and ends with Goodwin.

He set out again the same tactic that has not worked and is easily beaten. Madness definition please.
He has taken the spirit out of players and they look/feel gutless
He plays the same players and out of position.
There is no spirit, WTF do they do in training.
He has the makings of a good squad for someone else to motivate.
Even at 10 men with 4 at the back it looked better.

The officials show just how corrupt the game really is in Scotland. VAR should be binned immediately.

If it can ponder like an inbred cnut for an injured player, play the video 20 times to get a Fatah red the it should be capable of doing the same NOT to send off Camara. Yes he was niave but the spineless guttless team on the park should have been all over that playacting fcuk on the deck.

JG has left this team spineless and gutless. FO JG.

For me, United should be contacting Collum for an explanation on why Robertson involved himself.
There is no right answer to whether Fatah should have been sent off. Some say yes and some say no. By definition not a ?clear and obvious error?. So no VAR required.
Same with the pen, nothing clear and obvious. How many times did he have to look at it in slow motion to see a foot on the line.
That looked like a deliberate attempt to overturn a decision for no valid reason.
We should be asking for clarification, not on the decisions but on the interference.

Collum will have a hard job explaining Fatah's red card and if using the same metric, as the Celtic tackle then the card has to be rescinded and yellow given. If he cannot the he must resign, as we are operating a 2 tier system; arguably we have been doing this forever!

I thought at one point McDermid must have been the VAR; but Don Robertson, normally just okay, to have the red cards and penalty reviewed? The ref and asst refs were both mince and I get the distinct feeling, he was just going along with a more experienced Refs view, to try and keep in with the SFA Referees club!

The result was poor and we were good for about 10 mins! After that Hearts were professional and didnt need to move out of 3rd gear, made easier by the diabolical officialdom.

JG again not one to call for people's heads, but the players arent playing for him and do not suit his tactical preferences. Therefore the team captain and assistant coaches have to front up and tell him so. What has happened after such a bright start?

Ferry is not a winger, LB overlapping a proper winger.

Stephenson is not a midfielder; RB and better than Strain.

Wingers on their natural strong foot side!

Wtf has happened to Dolcek, KK etc; i do not know, but he will have to play the former, i would imagine if Fatah etc. suspended.

Top 6 now a pipe dream and if Falkirk to get beat today, there was a chance had we played as we have done previously against Hearts then we could have won and begun to claw back the deficit.

I am bloody deflated, both from team performances and officials.

I think if Spartan ticket sales are poor then it will be sending a message for change in one way or another!

We should keep faith with Goodwin. He?s a good manager and it takes time to build teams

Our budget is lower than half the teams in the league. Hibs, Hearts and Aberdeen all spending big and much bigger than us

JG knows what the team needs - the new signings looked good tonight and address the areas particularly GK that we needed improving
Kucherenko and Richards were both signed by Goodwin. Ross Goodwin would be better off seeking pastures new as well. I'd rather United adopted the old fashion version of scouting, employing scouts.

343 by Pep Goodwin again. Groundhog day at Tannadice under Goodwin. Hopefully Ogren will take the hint like when the fans said Asghar has to go, this is exactly same with Goodwin. I was hoping he would do the honourable thing and resign but it seems that is beneath him.

The state of some United fans is something else just now, having read a thread on teks, unbelievable

Can't believe the lack of perspective and acting like this is the worst they've ever felt etc

It's like take a step back, what did you expect from this season, it's been much much worse than this, they haven't really grasped the reality of what needing stability as a club is and it isn't all going to be good

Last night we were screwed by var getting involved when there was no obvious error, ruined what looked like being a close contest

Overall the season is not even in the bottom twenty worst top fight seasons, looks like we could end up mid table missing out on top 6, we need to make sure we consolidate this time, last time we were relegated in season 3, this is only season 2, we need a bit of boring stability for long term gain, people might not like that but it's what we need to grow again instead of trying to self destruct yet again

We are still in the cup too for now so that keeps things alive

Deserved to be dropped and bombed out, joke of an effort at the end of the Sevco game when on fresh as a sub, just gave up running

Didnt know he was away and you are probably right, as i thought the same couple of weeks ago.

Shedka, agree whilst he is not the best at back tracking etc. he is still a good player and has shown what he is capable of in first few games and i think played in the right position, i.e. left sided, he can still do a job. But we may never know now if ADS is correct.

Its a chore to watch us this season. Its awful. No football played whatsoever. The frustration for me and, id imagine, others is we have a decent team. Its taken us far too long to get the poorer players out the tean. The formation is horrible. Managers being sacked left and right playing that nonsense. When Ferry goes imagine how bad it's going to get if we still persist with it.

Soul destroying football in what is supposed to be an entertaining sport!

Plan A- Defend and hope that we get lucky by sneaking a goal....then defend a one goal lead.

Plan B- Chase the game after gifting the opposition the lead and hope that we can steal a draw.

It feels like we are dead in the water right now!

We got absolutely no luck on Saturday. I'm not saying we'd have won the game but some of the officiating was so poor and there is nothing to be done about that. Frustrating as.

We can mump & moan all we like about being hard done by or about Hearst players going OTT with their reactions to certain incidents but the bottom line is by the laws of the game all the VAR calls were correct .
What's worrying me is the recklessness and clear lack of discipline around all of the incidents including the indiscipline of our coaching staffs.
Jim has simply brushed over all of that and instead pretty much blamed VAR for another poor performance.
