We should have taken that offer from the MLS team, he's guff and has been most of the season.

New boy was the only one who could pass in our team last night

Camara was terrible, refuses to keep it in the deck, when he wins it back he gives it away half the time, prefer Sevelj in the middle but he is doing well where he is just now as well, we are a more solid team with Sevelj in it wherever he plays and really missed him in January (derby etc)

    Iovu did well also

Game was terrible, if looking at positives then not loads but a rare cleansheet, 5 pts picked up in the last ten days, we've gained on most teams behind us and Falkirk in that time

Downside is we are away at the toughest venue in the country just now and the countries form side on Saturday

Camara was a little unlucky with his shot off the post, looked like a great save to me. Tell you what though, Nisbet missed an absolute sitter. Open goal really.

The ref was dreadful, literally gave free kicks at any contact, says it all when he wasn't even the worst facet of the game last night, when you consider the pitch and the teams.

I thought the new guy did well, but he must think he is playing a different sport to football, he had about 90 headers last night.

Sapsford is off the boil, waters really is useless, doesn't offer any physical resistance up front other than occupying an opponent, but prime time Brazilian Ronaldo would struggle to have an impact getting balls shelled up to him like that. Fatah has been our best player but skill isn't helped on that pitch.

Could have done with sibbald to put his foot on the ball. Dolcek played well v Spartans but barely got a sniff since. Trap unfortunately showed why he is prob not worth a new contract.

Ferry, fair play he doesn't hide, the effort is there, and he does come up with some decent assists and deliveries, but that might just be due to the amount of crossing positions he gets in, as sround 70% of his deliveries are terrible, over hit, or makes wrong decision, doesn't shoot when he should etc .. don't get the point in shouting abuse at him though, what's the point, albeit probably just frustration from fans

Defence had some decent blocks last night, but also some calamity moments, fortunately we were playing the sheep who were every bit as bad as us.

Forgot to add,Kereztes is a complete liability and almost sold us down the river a few minutes in due to yet another loss of concentration and being piss weak.

Totally agree re Kereztes. Total lack of concentration at times. How we managed a clean sheet is down to how poor Aberdeen?s forwards were. If Motherwell can take 5 off a usually strong St. Mirren defence I hate to think what they will do to us on Saturday.

                Agree on KK

However we just kept a cleansheet so that's one of the positives, I don't remember our keeper having much to do

That's the 7th time in the last 9 meetings at Tannadice we've stopped them scoring

And now 6 unbeaten with them overall which is a good wee run

We deserved to win Saturday but draw was fair last night

Motherwell away is toughest game in the league just now, they are the form side and only Rangers have scored at fir park in the last 9-10 games

Saying that the sheep had chances in their recent league meeting, can we be clinical when ours comes, not confident but we are one of the highest scoring away teams in the along with hearts and rangers

If anything sums up the quality of that match last night it was lovu's comical attempt at a foul on the striker going through that would have been a red card, and nisbets equally comical attempt to score from the loose ball when he had an empty net 😂

Don't know if there is a plan other than hope for the best. The forecast is mild for at least the next couple of weeks with maybe even the odd glimpse of sun here and there - hopefully that might induce some growth from the grass. We host St Mirren next Tuesday then I don't see another game on that pitch until Celtic visit on the 22nd March. If the grass can start growing and the ground staff can get to work on it, then maybe it will recover a bit by then?

It's club decisions that have caused the pitch to be as bad as as it is, IMO.

Not sure T. But.. signing ball players to replace warriors (wee bit much I know) and ask them to perform on that dung heap??? Never gonna work.

There is no excuse (at any level) for not looking after any pitch, as best you can do.

We used to laugh at Dens...

                        We aint laughing now.

Soooooo many things need looked into and hopefully changed. And to be honest, I don't care (I do tho) how we do it.

                        ASAP

It's absolutely unfathomable to me why any football club wouldn't have their pitch as one of the absolute top priorities when it comes to spending. A good playing surface is critical to the club. It's where they play the vast majority of their matches, it's where they ask punters to come and spend their money. For the pitch to get in the state it's in because of stupid decisions made by the club is absolutely unforgivable and short sighted.

It's a good advert for never ground sharing! Pitch would be destroyed after 2 months of football!

It's the perfect storm of poor maintenance, freak weather and loads of matches in close succession. Even Gayfield which is usually pretty good pitch looks to have been hit watching their highlights. But we were noticing the pitch wasn't up to it's usual standard 3-4 months ago long before the weather deluge.
