Think given it's the form team and the toughest away venue the last few months with Rangers being the only opposition side to score there in the last 10 games at FP then most are thinking we will get beat

Think the same but a mwell fan did point out that the draw at Tannadice was a fair result and the loss down there as much as we were outplayed rested on Luca missing an open goal to equalise with twenty mins to go

Got to take any chances when they arrive and then we can take something as they've got by far the best defensive record in the division but they have drawn 11 games, only we have drawn more with 12

We know a good few of our draws should have been wins and that's been the difference, the 5 teams below us have all lost a minimum 5 more games than us and even Falkirk above have lost more but we are where we are with the points we have

With the ridiculous decision to schedule the st mirren game on the Tues when it could easily have been in a week or two this next 6 days will be a juggle and balance for facing a fresher Falkirk on Friday

Horses for courses I guess, there's gonna have to be some rotation at some point. Stirton starting for Airdrie this afternoon, so at moment we are down to Bloody Waters who has looked really poor and Sapsford who looks jaded and off the boil, and Fatah who has looked decent as a centre forward. Case to argue Clel-Harding would benefit from a stint at Airdrie rather than the bench seen as we have Graham on bench. Dolcek seems to be out the picture again after a decent showing against Spartans, Eskesen in out the cold after his winner at Falkirk. Not surprised he's resting the likes of Ferry and Agyei after recent efforts. Thought we might have eeked a bit more out Fatah seen as he is suspended for cup, but an option to come on. Not much pace in that backline, which Motherwell can exploit, Lovu been teetering with giving away a pen v Killie and red card v Aberdeen before Nisbets miss. On the plus side the fans should be safe from getting hit by any Ferry crosses or shots.

Let's be honest, with the mindset that a section of the United support are stuck in at the moment (tiresome so it is) then it's damned if he does and doesn't regardless of what he selects today and Tuesday

Probably but its still a weird selection. Ive been more than fair and patient with Goodwin.

Penalty, it'll not be clear and obvious either

Just the usual rubbish when we were pretty comfortable in the game

If comfortable means unable.to find a man with a pass then yeah we are super comfortable

No that's what your interpretation is not what I meant by it so don't start that rubbish

What I obviously meant is it was 0-0 and we were pretty comfortable, we didn't look like losing a goal at that time of the VAR intervention

Going in at half time goalless is just fine away from home, especially at the toughest away venue currently

It's a double dunter as they are difficult to score against, for everyone not just us so to go behind due to a VAR penalty award is typical

So Nick Walsh who tells the ref to give an imaginary VAR red card last week in the St Mirren v Motherwell is allocated to ref our game today.

This. We can barely control the football.
Our second touch is trying to win it back.
We can't string 3 passes together.

And as for Watters, absolutely terrible.

We look comfortable because we have 11 men behind the ball. Their keeper has his cigar out playing in defensive midfield. Which is fine, there's obviously a tactic there to stop them having their way in midfield but by we are absolutely dreadful on the ball its actually incredible. For a professional team to be as bad with a football as we are is quite unbelievable.

Even accounting for our shelling the ball up to our forwards, Waters is largely a waste of space. I'd say get Fatah on. Ah, game was all but over at 1-0, 2-0 no chance. Our season is in a death spiral, and keeping an eye out on Killie scores.
