According to Tam English on EBC Scotland open all mikes its stupidity by Sevelj a penalty and he could also have been sent off.Michael Stewart on the other hand is not so sure there is sufficient force with the elbow to warrant a red card but reluctantly concedes its a penalty.
Motherwell were claiming for another spot kick later in the half with the same two players involved again.Sevelj is involved again in the 2nd goal with an unlucky deflection.

For those who are glass half full you'll be worrying about that, for others who aren't in panic merchant mode then I accept mid table second season back is ok, the rest of the season is to finish top of bottom half ahead of the fun and northern fun and try to get through in the cup
And back our club and team to do it

This team has zero identity, the lack of technical ability is staggering. How can a full time professional team not pass a ball, find a man, link play, play through balls, beat a man and swing it into the danger area. It?s all panic, hoof the ball up the park when NOBODY is even there. We are a squad of giants and we are so weak, poor in the air. Camara is like Bambi on ice constantly giving the ball away, was glad when he subbed along with Eskesen and Ferrugia both anonymous. 6 wins all season absolutely no way near good enough, major change required now.

First goal was crucial today more than usual with their defensive record at fir park, the pen incident changed the game and it was tough from there as it would be for anyone else currently going there and going behind
On plus side none of the bottom six won today
On to St Mirren Tues

While we sit 7th in no danger of relegation the last part of your post is nothing more than hyperbole, but let it all out
Almost like some fans can't wait to lay into the manager and have the club back to instability
Utter daftness

Sadly to say, I don't think any of us expected anything different. This is the level we are at now. Hoping for a miracle (wee bit too far I know) but... we always hope.
Would have taken midtable position 2nd season in, if, we didn't hit top four. But.... it still feels sh*te. that we have seemingly upgraded the players , yet , they can't seem to get to the levels (or mentality) of our players that were let go.
I do like JG, but..making excuses are meant to be made after the match. My heart sank, listening to the pre-match interviews.

Stop with the f*cking excuses, that line up today was a f*cking embarrassment and this lands squarely on Goodwins shoulders. He's not fit to be manager of a team like United that has a proud history and is being run like a f*cking pub team. I'm absolutely livid with his cowardly approach to every f*cking game. No wonder these players are disillusioned too. Get this c*nt out!!Originally posted by shedka View PostFirst goal was crucial today more than usual with their defensive record at fir park, the pen incident changed the game and it was tough from there as it would be for anyone else currently going there and going behind

Hey Doc. Are you self medicating?Originally posted by The Doctor46 View PostYou are a complete muppet! 6 wins all season and you think that?s good enough as we are sitting in 7th! What team are you watching, as it?s no Dundee United. We are a f@?king mess all over the park.
you do have a point tho....

Nothing wrong with finishing mid table, Celtic, Rangers, Hibs, Hearts, and Aberdeen have significantly bigger budgets, Falkirk and Motherwell are having outstanding seasons, but it's how you finish mid table, you could be doing it in a manner that gives you some optimism moving forward, shows signs of the club stabilising and progressing, but as it is, we are closer to the bottom sides than the top 6, the team and squad that started the season is going to be completely ripped up again and require another massive rebuild, we aint doing that for no reason, we are doing that because the evidence of the past 30 games shows no tangible signs of an upturn in performances or results between now and end of season. Not a case of half full or half empty, just being realistic on the evidence of what we've seen all season. And adding to that a rotten home pitch.

I'm just not going to accept and forgive that deliberately weak line up today, no matter what bull**** he comes out with. It was a case of, "you lot might as well have your turn today because we have f*ck all chance of winning anyway"
That is never ever, f*cking ever acceptable from a manager of Dundee United, not while I've a hole in my arse! Time to pack up the laptop and f*ck off!
