It?s a massive game but we also have the massive cup QF match - probably biggest match of our season - on Friday

At semi finals there will be only 1 of the top 6 left if we get through. It?s a huge opportunity to try and win the cup

We need to take account of Friday for the team we select but I expect every player that plays to give everything for the cause

I?m guessing Iovu starts as he is suspended on Friday.

AMB in the goals and after that I don?t know

We could really do with a win to get some of the JG out fans more onside and create a better mood around the place

A loss will be bad for the possibility of getting dragged into relegation fight

Need to keep composure and get a win - no doubt they will be coming out fighting, and diving a lot imo from what I have seen recently from St Mirren

They're a big physical bunch of hammer throwers that can kick a football while knocking you over.
I think they'll want it more than our players and I'm hoping that's not our downfall.
We have to compete, we have to play some football.

Lose this and it's not going to be pretty.
On the other hand a win eases a lot of the thinking that we'll get dragged into a scrap.

    So come on lads.

HT 1-0 and we didn't even score the goal.

A performance that is a disgrace to the proud history of our club.

Honestly never seen a poorer passing team than ours, Agyei the one shining light.

Agyei my MOTM. Russell touch to Sapsford is what experience brings you. I didn't know Watters had that pace in him. Does a signing like Russell bring out that in others? Chuffed to get the three points.

Will take a win any way we can get it! Dodgy OG and a penalty!

                  Much needed 3 points!

2 terrible teams. The least terrible won.
                    Terrible referee by the way.

                    Great pen from Amar 🧡

I'll take the win but by Christ our passing needs to be so so much better. That ref was a disgrace tonight, I can't believe he allowed the St Mirren player to sit on the pitch getting treatment all that time until they had their sub stripped and ready to come on? Unreal. And how they got away with no yellow cards until right near the end was a joke, blatantly blocking our players who were running with the ball into their half twice and no cards? I need that explained to me really. I was literally on my knees praying for Johnny to put that free kick into the top corner, I guess he's saving that for Friday night.

                        Hard to watch.

Big Ross missed 2 balls all night leading to a goal and a chance.

                        Dont like our keeper.

                        At least we won!

Play like that on Friday and cup run is over.

Tbf I will take a shyte performance on Friday so long as we win,win at all costs now. Relegation should not be a concern really so we can properly throw ourselves into this one and if we can get through the players can have a nice little rest before the derby.

                          Just f*cking win please!! 🤞🧡🖤🧡

An awful watch. St Mirren are poor and we are marginally better. Pitch obviously doesn't help things but our passing has been poor all season and we never seem to be able to find anyone or have enough in the box for crossed balls. That being said....a ***** 3pts and hopefully an opportunity coming up to try and get the pitch looking a bit better! Fingers crossed that having JR in the dressing room and the squad, gives us a wee bit of a lift.
