Well if he has identified the problems why hasn?t he did something about it. We are 30 games into the season and as far as I can see his basic line up hasn?t changed. Going by the number of goals we have conceded the problem would appear to be our defence yet we still play three at the back. The personnel changes occasionally but it?s still the same system. Why did he remove Iovu and put Svelj in his place disrupting the midfield. He could have put young SCH on and kept the midfield intact.
Today was on the defence but JG has instilled in them a defensive mindset and they tried last 5 to shut up shop. We can?t defend so why do it?

..that is 100% on the players. JG didn't try to see the game out and was actually trying to get a third. Clear your lines, do the basics and be professional. That is 100% on the defence.

Agree he brought on sap and Russell. It?s the defence that are absolutely sh ite!! And there isn?t many more options we can make at the back. Weak mentality lost us that game. Graham gives away a needless foul then banged home the equaliser!

Apart from the last 5 mins we were the better team. Their keeper kept them in the game.

Gutted again though feels like another defeat.

The Iovu sub for Camara could have been SCH, straight swap. No need in shifting Sevelj to the back. I believe Sevelj was scoring an own goal until it was offside. Having beaten St Mirren with a three man midfield of Sevelj, Ayegi & Camara how do we setup against Falkirk and get dumped out of the cup with Sevelj in defence.

Where is the 30 years plus centre-half like Webster who brought Garry Kenneth onto a game? I couldn't give a toss if we've got the youngest squad. What it has shown is we are soft as sh!te and void of any ideas of how to close out games.

We have known most of the season the defence was our problem Jim. U keep going with the 3 at the back which doesn’t work and causes nothing but panic EVERY week. U pick the team u decide how we set up so yes this result is so much on you. Confident defenders don’t make the mistakes we do at the end of a game. This ain’t a 1 off Jim but several games this season have resulted in the same mistakes. U haven’t changed or fixed them so what do u do with the team at training all week? It comes from ur inability to change a shape that ain’t working with the players that u have brought in. We need defenders who are confident but what u have done with the 3 at the back is put doubt in their minds. What else can I say to the players but those last 2 mins u have massively let us fans down yet again. Thanks

Also saw the Eastside young team were gathering outside the main gates at tannadice afterwards. Not sure if it was to protest or greet the team home?

He took lovu off presumably cause he was on a yellow and looking vulnerable for another. Last 5 mins we started playing like the game was won, sapsford has a woeful effort. We just can't defend set pieces, and panic sets in as soon as we concede and then give away a free kick, when we can't defend set plays. Defence should have had a higher line. If memory serves me correctly, from the kick off, we literally just played it back for someone to punt the ball straight back to them and give them possession. I'd have had Russell on for waters, and ahead of sapsford. You can't say the tactics over the match weren't effective.

Almost ridiculous that we haven't won that comfortable today, should have been a deserved victory, by far the better team and yet here we are cursing a draw (and gifting them a draw to celebrate as a win, the ones that were left)

Not on the manager, we had enough chances to bury the game and really should have been able to see it out the last minute and get the cleansheet to boot

This one isn't directly on the manager but it is on the manager that this has been happening all season and hasn't been rectified. Ross Graham making that needless rash tackle right at the end is panic mode. A team that has been secure closing out games doesn't make stupid decisions like that. The ghost of every other late f up this season was at play. No doubt Elvis will talk about the character of his team to come back but that had nothing to do with it. The ball played in to the box was nowhere near any of his players. its was purely self inflicted by a team that isn't showing character to close out a game. I feel for Ross as he will no doubt be hurting but we have seen this movie too many times this season for it to be just bad luck.
