Surprised Dundee started without the top 11, only team in it the first half. United just cant see games out, another 5 mins and it could have been 3-2. Dundee wont be so bad at Tannadice next derby, still best derby in Scotland tho.

I've absolutely had it up to my eyeballs with this shooting ourselves in the foot. Hammered the c*nts all game, should have had at least 5. Their keeper kept the score down and well we did the f*cking rest again didn't we?
Anyone saying thats nothing to with the manager just isn't seeing the bigger picture ( yes you know who I mean)
All season, all f*cking season he hasn't been able to sort this problem out and it's a problem of his own making. His negative mindset has just totally infected these players and while he's the manager it's never going to change. Get him to absolute f*ck!

Agreed, Managers get the stick, but how many games have we lost/drawn in the last 10 minutes? It's too easy to say get rid of JG, but at the end of the day, if his plan is working and the players mess it up, that's not down to him.

This season has seen bad ref decisions, suspensions, injuries and a tattie field of a pitch.

I think we need to cut him some slack, if we sack every manager after a bad season then when will we ever get consistency? Jim is gone, we are back to being a normal middle of the league team and its time we accepted that anything better is a bonus. If we won half the games we have drawn we would be in 6th place, middle of the table. We are what we are.

We could support a team that has never won anything, their supporters turn out each and every week because they support their team. We seem to enjoy wollowing in our own pity.

We were like a child spoilt at an early age, its hard to wind them back to reality.

I still want to know what happened in January. Did JG look at that team and think...we don't need a defender, did he think that he could fix it, did he not see the issues or was he aware of our frailties but the owner wouldn't fund the signing of any new players. We have been shocking at the back all season, he said so in today's interview......so what is the reason for us still being so bad? Is it the players, is it the tactics, is it the coaching or is it the manager?
We need a commanding GK, an organiser at CB that wins everything in the air, a steady player in midfield that can pass the ball and someone up front that can take the chances that fall to them!
Our keeping, defending, passing and attack have all been woeful!
Get Ogren in front of the fans so we can see what the plans are and make sure that he sees what is wrong! I am feart that he is asleep at the wheel again!

OK I'll throw the first brick

Of course it's on the manager if the players continue to throw games away. How can it not be? Its his team, it's his job to get them doing things better. He continues to pick players that keep letting us down but our young players barely get a look in. He is absolutely stuck on his 3 at the back and yet who can honestly say that it's worked? All season we have chucked goals in and thrown away games,it's absolutely not good enough and he is the boss, the buck stops with him!

I wish folk would stop blaming the fans and making out like it's wrong to be pissed off with the state of things. Fans pay their money and keep the club alive, they have the bloody right to complain about things.

Of course we all know he's going nowhere and he clearly feels above reproach and everything is the players fault. He said he'll need to sort it out in the summer, so what about the next f*cking 8 games Jim? You just gonna keep doing what you're doing I guess? Absolute fud!

I wasnt blaming the fans, just my thoughts that its not the managers fault for everything that goes on in a game. You right the buck stops at the manager but he doesnt kick the ball. He is not without fault but his is not exclusive. How many of our young players are ready for the first team? Its all ifs and buts, would we better off with a new manager, who knows.

Look at the former Raith Manager, people were pushing to get in the door, where did he end up? There are a few in the club who should have some blame on them. Starting at the top and working your way down. Look at the condition of the pitch today, looked after by our EX groundsman. How good has been our statistically based selection system for new players?

I want a manager who's adaptable and recognises that things are not working. Jim just continually shuffles the pack and puts different bodies into the same formation and refuses to see it's not working. His mentality is defensive and his negativity needs rooting out of the club and out of that squad of players. We give up leads because we are mentally weak as piss and it's 100% his job to sort that out. He hasn't been able to though and he's not doing very well in his job role is he? Any other walk of life and he'd be down the f*cking road.

2-0 up with two and a half minutes left, un f*cking believable! Still shaking my head here

Since Christmas we've added 19 points from our 12 games, Untied have added 13 points from their 12 games and Aberdoon have added an impressive 6 points from their 14 games.
We were very poor for more than half the game today, Untied had their seasons best performance (managers words not mine) and we still didn't lose.
Hope Roma enjoying his party 🤣🤭

You must have been watching a different game. He shat it at 2 up and sat back to control.

If United keep Goodwin they could end up in the bottom 2 next season. He just can't inspire these guys or set them up right.

I don't believe that. I think with another transfer window this squad can be tweaked into a very decent team. The bones of it are there and we've been close to very decent results many times. As frustrating as yesterday was it really didn't show us anything new about our current team, that's been happening all season and until we can change the squad it'll keep happening.

For me, not the manager but ultimately he is responsible so I understand the unease, especially after yesterday.

I'm not sure how anyone can absolve the manager of blame when he's the one who's meant to solve problems and get results,it's his actual job. How some people can't see that he's to blame for the negativity that infects our squad is beyond me. Our season has been an utter failure and he just refuses to accept any blame and believes himself to be beyond reproach, instead he calls his players pathetic. Incredibly poor man management at best and this team will continue to go backwards under him no matter how many windows he gets.

I agree. The main issue is the lack of experience at the back.

With that we would have seen out 4-5 games like yesterday that cost us 10 points or so and likely finish in top 6.

That alone doesn’t solve all of the problems but it removes a major thorn from this teams side.
