It's not about false entitlement expecting better than 7th, it's expecting the correct approach and application to matches.
Fans will mostly accept 7th if they've been seeing decent well coached football.

It's not just two people, social media isn't the reality, there are plenty fans that can see the bigger picture and think stability is better for us and continuity, much better than being an northern fun scenario and risking everything for someone who might b not do better than what we have

Also not what happened in the Derby, we played very well, Goodwin game plan and system dominated the game (I say that as someone who didn't want a 343 before the game and wouldn't mind a 433 system generally) shandy Pressleys 4 at the back and we were trying to score more goals, we should have had a few but their keeper had a very good game, including the save from Russell in the last ten mins

Actually once the dust had settled and got over the way we defended the last few mins and RG's crazy minute of football It gave me plenty optimism going forward

If the players can get over that disappointment then think we will have some good games to finish the season and hopefully secure 7th, however tish and I'm a fortnight will be a challenge either way, good form or not, let's hope we find a good account of ourselves as we are capable

I?d agree with that. Plenty to be optimistic about in this game, pacific shelf are utter guff. United were playing good and should have won the derby.
That team should be full of confidence after their last match at home against the opposition , although I notice your goalkeeper is different.

Anyway best of luck and hope st Mirren give them another Hampden humping and they win nothing this season.

Could United do the double over Celtic at Tannadice this season? When was the last time that actually happened? I'd love it if we had a say in Celtic falling out of the title race.

Can you just take your ugly sister chat elsewhere? We are not here just to serve your f*cking purpose. We do not give a f*ck about your entitled f*cking opinion and your shyte about your Glasgow rivals. No one cares about your nonsense here now f*ck off!

And if any of my words offend you, then please feel free to ram them up your pacific f*cking shelf!

Well done Goodwin. First time since thirty-five years ago we have done the double over them at Tannadice. Scoring goals asks questions of the opposition. Celtic aren't able to answer these questions. Tremendous. Hope they win bugger all this season.

Boy really puts himself about, impacts a game, even better with Camara in a 3.

                  Great result 🧡

We lacked a bit of quality in possession but we more than made up for it with intensity and character.

Praise due today for the team and Jim for getting his game plan spot on. Team were better all over and the fight within them was excellent. That’s the utd team we deserve to see week in week out. Defence much better and this result should see us progress on to more wins. I was worried what reaction we would get today but everyone of them showed what they can do and deserved the win today. I Was only sorry not more fans were there today but the results in the cup and derby put many off. At least we can enjoy this beautiful Sunday . Same again in 2 weeks time please against the rangers from a very happy Arab.

Well deserved win, I was paranoid going into the 93rd minute because of what has gone before this season, but I was honesty thinking we were comfortable in that second half. They are stinking, that was more comfortable than the win over Nancy's Celtic, shame we didn't get the win last week we deserved, but that showed a lot of character today after the gut punch last week, actually thought we showed more fight than them also.

Ferry was excellent today, Luca was solid again

Iovu brilliant again, he's one we need to keep

All three centre backs were good, Graham showed character, they all strolled the stoppage time, we never looked in any danger of repeating last week

                          Farrugia done well too (edit)

Sevelj and Agyei a great duo together, they actually make this 3-4-3 work

Think we had 20 shots last week, 19 today

Do not change the system Jim 😛

Ferry deserves a lot of credit, he has taken a lot of stick this season, in part cause he got linked to a move, and his form hasn't been as high as previous, and he had that howler against I think Aberdeen when his crosses and shots struggled to stay in the stadium. Was involved in the goal against St Mirren when coming off the bench, assists v Falkirk, Dundee, goal today. Prob suggests he was just needing a rest, sure it had been suggested he was playing with a slight knock too. He was like a man possessed at times today. Was thinking he might never score for us.

Great result today United . 2 best performances last week and today apart from injury time last week . Need to say all players deserve plaudits especially Lovu, Ferry , Agyei and Graham after his ending last week was solid with other 2 guys at back . If only Jim can get them up for it from start like past 2 games i wouldn't be saying get him out . 2 wins and 2 score draws against the Glasgow uglies not to bad when think of it but they are really s**t Celtic

Yeah. The management and players deserve a lot of credit for bouncing back from last week's disappointment. Obviously unable to train on Monday due to the Trophy Parade.

The players showed incredible spirit and character, pressed the Celtic players the way they normally press us and they got their rewards.

Dee lighted for Ferry and also for Agyei, that will be a major boost to their confidence.
