  • Aberdeen Away

Don't usually start threads, but, it's affy quiet just now.

Hopefully go back to the same team that beat the neebz, and we take it just as seriously (unlike Killie)

7th place is better than 6th. (obviously)

Funny feeling it might be 1-1

I went up for the game over the festive period up there. Absolutely grim fare. Hope it's a better game than that one.

I think Jim is likely to tinker with the team now, like he did in the last game. Might be a couple of players getting one last change to impress with regards to impending contract decisions..

I think he made a mistake making any changes last week and it might cost us in the remaining games

He should have stuck with the same team that cruised it against the fun and saw us try to get 7th done then make a couple changes after for maybe Livi/St M

Momentum now halted and more difficult to bounce straight back even if he goes back to the line up that's working (even in the absence of Fatah/Luca) especially as the ssb have gained momentum in their two recent games

Richards cost us the win last time at pittodrie spilling a shot right at their player to tap in so hopefully he makes up for it today

      Richards
      Iovu Graham Keresztes
      Strain Sevelj Agyei Ferry
      Farrugia Watters Sapsford

Head says 2-1 sheep though today and us struggling to secure 7th

I think a few of our guys have caught the Watters (flip flops and holiday mode activated) The team need a heavy rocket up their erchies again. The season is far from over and we are well catchable! Aberdeen have been much better and Nesbitt is always good for a goal against us. Lets play this like its a cup final and have their fans throwing chairs again please. I think Goodwin might struggle to get the players up for this one but I hope I am wrong. I want a braver, stronger and more cut throat performance this week because that Killie game was unacceptable!

New Firm derby, the last one at Tannadice was awful. Can't be any worse than that surely?.................

343 or will we be offered up a different formation? If 343 I think we might be picked off, hopefully not but entertainment wise I hope for some. Domestically this season I would say Hibs away was the most exciting match attacking wise. Just a shame we had a keeper who thumped the ball anywhere instead of catching it.

Richards been offered a new contract. In an interview a few weeks back he said he was wanting more game time. I hope on that basis he rejects and gets his wish for more game time elsewhere. Also heard strong rumours that Jack Walton might be heading back to United. That would be good but another keeper on a one year deal to push the competition for that position is a must imo.

Competition for places for each position is what strives to get a better team performances.

This is "now" our most important game of the season... Win this, we can't be caught. Puts the cat amongst the pigeons for the teams below. We can sit back, experiment all we want in the last games. (ONLY) if we take something from today.

As for keepers, I wouldn't be unhappy to have a total clear out, or keep Ruairidh as back-up and bring in a proven journeyman keeper.

            C'mon UNITED!

Well the less said about that the better. 343 as usual. KK still having brain farts this long into the season. Mibbee just mibbee the 343 has to be binned. Naamo and Farrugia inverted and offered phuck all. Goodwin you have done a disservice to the fans that have gone up to Pittodrie to support their team. Phuckin brutal is putting it mildly.

No shots on target in 1st half . No surprise when you play one man up front who has been s**t for months and 10 men behind ball with back 3 who gift another goal as usual . You got another 45 min to sort this out Goodwin

The 2 Agyei bookings were a joke and so was the goalkeeper at their 2nd.

This Aberdeen side are absolute guff and on play we shouldn't have lost that today imo. We were the better team, especially in the 2nd half but we really need to create more and get that Watters to fk and get Johnny more game time.

I hope that is the last involvement Richards, Strain, KK and Watters have with United. If Goodwin decided to phuck off as well I wouldn't be disappointed with that either.

You can tweak things all you want to make things look good or bad. But...

                            Keepers... no great
                            Defence... no great
                            Midfield.. no great
                            Forwards... no great

                            Individually... some good, some bad.

As a team ? yet again... no great.

                            Manager? you've guessed it!

I don't expect a great season every year, but this one has went from, good, to poor , then bad.

Stick or twist, some might say.

                            No sure misel, yet.
