From my own looking at it I don?t think it hits his hand, the head contacts to send the ball large distance out of play

Hearts should have had the pen when Kyziridis has his foot stood on v Motherwell - which was a big call

Assuming shanks scores the penalty awarded that would be difference of 4 points to hearts over Celtic

I also agree Hearts are one of the worst teams (as well as old firm) for diving about and the Fatah incident was particularly bad

So Hearts have been at it some times but they should have had better decisions from the refs

Personally I hope hearts win on Saturday
I think what pissed me off about Wednesday night (apart from the ridiculous Celtic penalty) was Delboy getting all indignant and wholly righteous like the world is against us and we don’t get any decisions. Really? Just off the top of my head they got a handball goal and an extremely dodgy penalty at Ibrox, a dodgy penalty v Well at Tynecastle, a dodgy sending off v Celtic for a supposed DOGSO and of course the farce that was the entire 90 mins at Tannadice in January. Celtic have been indulged and massively benefited on Wed night, but Hearts can hardly claim that they’ve gotten absolutely nothing. That’s just utter bollox.

It pissed me off that he was complaining about the officials from a game his side weren't even playing in!

The lines for the offside Livi goal against us midweek looked like they were drawn in crayon by someone with the shakes.

Honestly though, who gives a f*ck? We've had some horrendous decisions go against us, and a few of those being against Hearts too. So I say f*ck them and McInnes all the way to f*ck

See that statement from the SFA regarding that call on Wednesday. IMO they are shifting the blame on anybody else but themselves. Is this the moment when the clock stops during games then you know exactly how long injury time is to be played?

So the family of the ref are under police guard. If we had foreign refs in the top flight the fans would have to go some distance in trying to get at them. I think the police should be arresting the person putting out that statement because that is fuelling the debate with them saying they are in no way to blame. Ex refs coming out and saying it should never have been given paints that statement coming from the SFA as boll***s.

As I said before if it was in the Celtic box and the penalty awarded to Motherwell and they scored from it to make Hearts league champions that was never going to be given. Therein lies the problem and it could be years of the SFA taking it from the two arse cheeks and buggering all the other teams.

I really hope Hearts win it and see how the Celtic fans take it. As is always the case with the SFA do phuck all against the Celtic fans or The Rangers fans.

Police Scotland not happy with Celtic because they are doing nothing to stop the massive title winning party arranged by their supporters in Glasgow city centre after tomorrow's game. Its already decided then?.

Glasgow City Council have been busy, they have taken out all the glass from bus stops and boarded up windows and doors of shops in the city. Glasgow City Council have a wager on Hearts becoming league champions tomorrow, tremendous. That is why glass has been removed or covered up.

Celtic wouldn't go on the rampage if they didn't win it would they? Tomorrow hopefully we will find out................

Frankly they can wreck that shytehole of a city, then ban both cheeks for life or until they change names again.

Celtic won it due to the introduction of Saracchi. Got the ball down and opened Hearts up imo.

Still think whoever came out with that statement from the SFA has to put their name(s) to it. They are complicit if they think that VAR call was correct.

Celtc won it due to the non penalty they got given by VAR against Motherwell. Simple as that.

We had Camara sent off against Hearts for some c*nt faking injury and throwing himself to the floor like he'd been shot when he hadn't been touched. Sh*t happens, F*ck Hearts!

Aye title NO56 should have a wee asterisk next to it with SFA,VAR in brackets alongside too.

I think it's important to stay on track and consider the penalty incident in the Motherwell Celtic game in isolation, and not muddy the waters by adding parameters like whether or not you like Derek McInnes, or whether or not Hearts got the benefit of a dodgy decision against us. You can't expect a referee to see an incident, then trot off to side of the pitch, look at the incident on a screen a few times, then get on a laptop to look at a spreadsheet with stats for who has had the benefit of of VAR calls and then consider what is the best call in in the interest of "evening things up".

The question is, should the penalty have been awarded? My opinion - no, it shouldn't. No one can say with any certainty that the ball hit the defender's hand/arm. It definitely hit his head - there is no way it would have cannoned off his hand and then flown off out of play the way it did. There was definitely a header there. To me, unless you can say with certainty that the ball hit his hand, then you can't award a penalty. At that point in the game, with the scores level, you are essentially awarding a victory by giving the penalty.

It reminds me of the Sam Dalby incident - there was not even a hint of a hand ball in any of the video replays, so you can't disallow the goal, yet they did.

It also takes me back to the Mike McCurry show at Ibrox. Noel hunt is through on goal, only to be blatantly chopped down by David Weir - stone wall penalty any day of the week. But nothing given. McCurry tried to explain it afterwards by saying that there was another player obscuring his view and he couldn't be sure there had been a foul, and if you are not totally certain then you can't award a penalty. I get that this was a long time ago, but surely the same rules have to apply - if you're not totally certain then you can't award a penalty, especially when it is going to have such massive implications for the entire season.

Even if it did hit his hand, goes down as a completely flukey penalty.
