Goodwin gets the St Mirren gig. That'll do.

I've been watching Adams in the warm-ups. He can't catch the ball either. Richards in the warm-up gets balls belted at him goal-kick style, he doesnt catch many, h'se sometimes parries. Adams even less. Obviously thats not a whole lot to go on but its worrying to me at least! FFS Sign a goalie that great at catching a ball.

I think we've had the usual hysteria on the back of the last three games

In what's been a overall very positive two seasons back, 4th and 7th (average 5.5) , would have all taken that

We went into the split missing our two best players to injury, won the Derby then a mix of changes and maybe less intensity, have had poor results after but managed to secure 7th the position we started it in, good recent home form terrible away form so it's kinda flipped

There are lots of positives to address and negatives too, the negative voices are usually the loudest especially in the immediate aftermath

Today is nothing more than a friendly, missing arguably 5 of our best 6 recent performers, only Sevelj available of those

Be nice to my end not having been beaten but all about building for next season, better keeper, better defence, replace the key losses (Luca etc)

It would be nice to get a goal - three blanks in row is poor by anyone's standards.

I'm looking forward to a season finishing without a pitch invasion, as that has frankly become embarrassing in recent years. Three pitch invasions for winning the Championship FFS! Then invading the pitch for finishing fourth? Come on now.

It seems like our lot were just sticking around for the derby to put things right after the stoppage time collapse at Dens. Once that business was taken care of, they're off on their holidays. I'm bored now and just want this season done.

I can't believe he hasn't given Adams a shot in goal today, seriously, it's not even as if Richards is a decent keeper. What a kick in the teeth for the young man.

Why not play Stirton today also, Sapsford has looked like he needs a summer break, Waters isn't going to be here next season, Sibbald isn't playing for us next season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Goodwin signs Watters and KK on permanent deals................ Adams and any other young player must be thinking if I want to play in the United first team I need Goodwin to move elsewhere.

Blackburn Rovers, St Mirren and Celtic rumours I've heard being linked with Goodwin.

Your hate for a decent United manager is pathetic tbh

However yes, Richards is nowhere near good enough

That language is disgraceful even if it does have stars in the C word,100% agree with Shedka on that.

Usual hysteria? There you go again having a pop at fans who can see the reality. You just can't help yourself can you? We get dominated in games due to this shyte system that Goodwin and you seem to love so much( Using a little of your logic I'll say it definitely isnt working after defeats against the sheep and Killie btw) Even Livi made us look absolute shyte. Today was an opportunity to try out something else, but nope. A wet fart of a season, the only positives will all be leaving in the summer too. F*cking hysteria? You're jumping for joy at finishing 7th thats a proper funsters mentality. I really hope Goodwin spends a lot more time at Celtic Park next season.

Goodwin doesn't help himself sometimes, honest to god, what was the point in playing Richards today? Complete an utter waste of an opportunity to test the young keeper, even disregarding the fact it's a young keeper, there's an argument from a performance perspective Adams should have started.

I can't remember a season where you could count the number of decent performances on one hand. I personally think we got lucky towards the end with our pitch being such a shambles that it suited our play. We have a real lack of creativity and leadership. We need a big preseason and a massive slice of luck in the transfer market.....and hopefully JG has done a bit of learning and may change our shape for next season. Beating the league champions home and away being the highlight for me. Losing cheap goals and games from winning positions being the lows. New GK, defence and striker required ASAP please.
