My feeling is that it’s the latter.
Yeah, maybe that's actually the case which is fair enough isn't it?

That was an absolute shocker from Goodwin, not at the very bare minimum starting Adams v st mirren. Playing instead a guy who'd made multiple mistakes and proven at best he wasn't good enough to be No1, and isn't even with us now. If you don't have the confidence to stick a keeper in for a dead rubber then when are you ever going to play him? He might have stuck him in and he might have had a howler, I'd rather he did that then have a howler in a game that matters,

That is on the manager. Persisting with the three at the back from the start in every game was daft. Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, hope not ffs. Hopefully he has put the three at the back in the bin. I would have played Adams against St Mirren but behind a back four.

He didn’t start Adams in any of the dead rubbers we had following the last Derby. If JG wouldn’t start him in those then he’s not going to start him at all. If that’s how Goodwin feels about him then to be fair to the young lad, let him go so he can start somewhere else. Really feel for him as he’s never and now will never, get a chance at Tannadice.

Had a fair few good Polish keepers and Rafal Gikiewicz would be a good continuation of Zaluska, Szamatulski and Rado. Or is it an English keeper in the mould of Stevie Banks who was brilliant for us?
The Dutch market served us well also with Sieb and Guido. Czech/Slovak with Dusan. All physically and genetically tall nations, therefore must be proportionately more goalie types among their league teams. Although I wouldn?t want to diminish Adams?s chances of securing No2 slot, he surely has to get a chance sometime; after all he is the Scotland u21 keeper, so surely fairly decent?

I know what you are saying but he never seems to get an opportunity wherever he goes. Makes me wonder...

Love JGs recruitment overall since he joined, never going be spot on but gets it right more often than not, mostly right when it comes to letting players go at the right times

January was a good window with the additions of Agyei and Farrugia

It's looking like solid business upto now in the summer, Walton isn't amazing but he's very decent and has he been here this season past then what a difference it would have been, back to back top 6 finishes at promotion definitely

We will still need a good 5-8 more, the sheep and his will probably hoover up some of our targets at times with the wages they offer these days though

Good to see Walton back too but when he was here last time he had Gallagher holt and Graham winning everything in the box so didn?t have to worry about coming for the ball
    Correct.
