A talented boy but he was frustrating as f*ck sometimes. Think I remember that very game GB. Would be good to see him back up here and see how he's progressed.

As I mentioned before, I would have him back (if offered) to up the skill levels a wee bit (never gonna happen tho) but... He had an uncanny knack of going missing when the going got tough. And the hair flick thing was harmless, but... doesn't look good when the fans want the players to concentrate and get stuck right in there.
And as GB mentioned , there's nout worse than a player losing possession then not try to recover their mistake.
Also, in this league , we need kickers, not flickers... (shame but true)

John Souttar was also like that when he was wanting away from United, just sauntered back into position. Whereas if Gauld lost the ball he was tenacious in trying to get it back.Originally posted by Yeats 62 View PostAs I mentioned before, I would have him back (if offered) to up the skill levels a wee bit (never gonna happen tho) but... And talking of Gauld, a new Vancouver contractOriginally posted by Arabs4ever View PostJohn Souttar was also like that when he was wanting away from United, just sauntered back into position. Whereas if Gauld lost the ball he was tenacious in trying to get it back.
Scottish midfielder Ryan Gauld says he has not given up on his hopes of playing for Scotland after agreeing a lucrative new deal with MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
What a dream if Steve Clarke gave him a chance to shine in Gemany

Changing manager is really unhelpful for our club which is in need of 3 years or so of stability in that respect, Goodwin isn't doing badly and if he gets us up then should get time and unless it was a case of not looking like staying up IF promoted then he should get next season, in my opinion

I agree, but when was the last time we had a manager who stayed for 3 years or more? Peter Houston?Originally posted by shedka View PostChanging manager is really unhelpful for our club which is in need of 3 years or so of stability in that respect, Goodwin isn't doing badly and if he gets us up then should get time and unless it was a case of not looking like staying up IF promoted then he should get next season, in my opinion

That’s a frightening stat , also sums up the attitude of fans , one bad run and screaming for change , doesn’t help either with such a small top tier panic sets in very quicklyOriginally posted by tHeArAb View PostAmazingly, Imrie is currently the Championships longest serving manager at 2 years! 😂 Just goes to show the longevity of managers these days
