I suppose it depends whether his family likes it in Trump country.
Lots of stuff about this on social media. Some saying if a wages deal could be done it's a no brainer but also seen a couple saying not the correct fit at this time. Personally I'm not that bothered either way. Would be happy to see him back in a Tangerine shirt though.

      So Hearts then 🙁

      • I think he will probably stay stateside! Trying to tell the wife and kids to go to Dundee from January to May might be a stretch when he could probably stay in better climates..make decent money then retire. In saying that, if we could get him then it would be a no brainer!

        • I went to the Scotland v Croatia game on Friday night; first time I've been to a Scotland game for a long time.
So maybe this was obvious to everyone else, but it only clicked with me on Friday night, was the Dundee United influence. ie John Souttar, Andy Robertson, Ryan Gauld, Stuart Armstrong, Lawrence Shankland, and did we not have Anthony Ralston on loan for a spell?
As I said, sorry if everyone was aware of this United connection.

              • Listened on the radio. Liam Gordon criticised Robbo all night.
                Karma ending for him.

TV commentators in the highlights saying how good Andy was.

                • Soapy souttar was excellent last few games for Scotland, good to see him get a run free of injuries, they've probably stopped him fulfilling his potential. Saying that, he can still be roughed up, starting Saturday hopefully.

Any of the juniors over eleven will be giving him goalkeeping tips

Our worst ever player. Cost the club millions. Hate the ****. Surprised he got any job in football.

Is this a classic case of 'those who can't do, teach'?

                          • He should have walked when we made it obvious he wouldn't play again, but instead he hung about for the big paycheck. I'm sure he would have picked up another team at that point and would probably still have a career as a footballer....but he stuck around and effectively ended his career. Hell mend him!

I can't believe parents aren't up in arms about this tbh, it's like hiring Frank f*cking Spencer to train the next generation of plumbers!
