Just in case the funny lot are looking in, look at where your pitch is in relation to Dens road and try and convince me the drains are backing up that far! If you are basing this theory on the manhole cover that keeps blowing off, i am not convinced that is a drain and might be a burn. Anyone know about the Butter/Dens Burn?
      😂😂😂😂😂

They must think Tannadice drains up the way, into the Cleppy Rd drains.

Blaming the council on the dens road drain could just be to deflect blame away from their own pitch. Good chance the pitch is waterlogged due to compaction and thatch build up on the playing surface, this would cause any surface water to settle and not drain away even if the drains that take the water away from the pitch is clear. But they know best.

Sure the pitch was just redone last summer?

Had a quick peek at their forum tonight, it's Victim FC over there.

There's definitely something wrong, it doesn't even look very green.

It was stripped of all vegetation & re-seeded. A common renovation done by most clubs.

                        • Following Saturday there have been a lot of reports and articles on next season and how United can compete following promotion. Most are saying that we should look at Dundee’s model this season as an example of how to succeed. I personally think this is an absolutely top idea.

Let’s just do absolutely phuck all about pitch maintenance and basic stadium and sanitation infrastructure. Just think of the ££££££££’s that could be saved and ploughed in to the playing squad instead. Makes perfect sense to me.

Yes it's making me laugh and shake my head when I see this stuff, we were 4th two years back and imo had Neilson stayed and covid no occurred could easily have got top 6th first season back up, but the continuity was broken and we landed Mellonball

The only model we need to aspire to is our own past, more obviously Levein/Houston era, continuity, nucleus of squad over a few years, clever recruitment, did gems and some graduates stepping up

Pep Guardiola would have struggled with the squad that the Sporting Director assembled and Micky Mellon inherited!
