Not sure it will be that big now, yes United are back and playing good. It certainly has a Manchester City feel about it Though, With the current squad and the buzz around the new stadium and all that, you could be right. United may grow OR Dundee may emerge as the top side - if all goes well and they continue on the path they have forged for themselves. I will always have a soft spot for United but dundee have sparked my interest I have to admit. Let’s see how it goes in the league cup. I think both Dundee clubs are at an exciting point and let’s see which one emerges as top dog at the end of the season.

The rags (united) used to laugh at city for winning nothing in 40 years. Then look what happened. The similarities are striking. They are back as a top 6 side, no doubt about it. I predicted Dundee (and st mirren ) to finish top 6 and both did, I now predicted them to clinch a European spot and a cup final within 1-3 years. I would not rule out United derailing them though, like he said this side is an unknown threat to top 6 and perhaps even silverware challengers.

An example of this is,in 2021 i honestly could not find the today's game thread i waded through page after page to no avail.This season i looked and have posted on the new today's game thread however at that time the previous one was only 3 pages(now 4) back.That just shows you how slow the board has got over time.

It’s Dundees version of success , realistically not many Scottish clubs can even dream of winning domestic titles let alone playing European finals , in recent years it’s only been the mighty Sevco to do both of those things really. Dundee have got ambition though, a nice new stadium generating income and plans to toppple their rivals as being the number one club in their city, baby steps
