  • There are no debates and they still try

Every team counts season tickets whether they show or don't, Dundee also inflate their numbers, they didn't have over 5000 against Motherwell but they gave their attendance as such

We fill the home ends for other games, we've already sold more in the home end for Aberdeen on the 29th than the fun have had for any home game derby or otherwise at dens this century apart from when you won the league against Dumbarton

But they definitely did yesterday
The tickets were sold and counted as attendance just like every club (including yours) does. Do you expect someone to point and count every empty seat and deduct it from the attendance? 🤣
Kick off time, bairns futba, weather and the sectarian singing of playing one of the arsecheeks were all factors in some not showing yesterday.
Hun game was sold out 4 days prior to the game. I couldn't get a ticket.

      • Yea home end was full for Rangers visit, St Johnstone and Hibs at home both had GF and ET full with extra fans in the Jerry Kerr too, so only ones not there were season ticket holders but couldn't have been many

The funsters never mention away crowds, I suppose all the other teams give false figures and the BBC etc photoshop fans into seats in the away end for us compared to the fun

Saw the Rangers v Dundee highlights and could only see blue seats in the away corner, was like they were playing a Moldovan team in the conference league, doc the Messiah was pointing his players to the corner at full time, presumably so they could go over and give the seats in the corner a wee clap

I’m not debating the away attendances yes you guys take more no question , if you really watched the game you would notice ibrox was only about half full , probably due to the boats being cancelled over the Irish Sea with the high winds , my point is there was nowhere the figures given out by United on Sunday

A lot of season ticket holders don't go to games against the uglies because of the toxic atmosphere which has been explained already. The seats are still sold though so it's an irrelevant point you're trying to make. Imagine if all the Dee season ticket holders did the same and the difference it would make? Tbh probably not much as it's pretty threadbare already. Probably be like making a hole in an already bigger hole 🤣

United gave out the figures for every single seat purchased for the game on Sunday,if people then choose not to attend after buying their ticket then so be it.The simple FACT is 13,662 supporters bought tickets for the game but for various reasons chose not to attend the game or were physically unable to.

                  • The Doc is now a Funster officially. His post match interview was hilarious."We should have got something from the game(V The Rangers)and there are a lot of disappointed guys in that dressing room."

The Rangers had 21 shots at goal scored once and hit the bar 4 times. The Fun had 5 shots but did make over 40 clearances from their own box.Aye you got robbed Tony, total daylight robbery mate.

I think that they do it, just to annoy your lot. It's the only logical answer.

Exactly, it's not like someone can realistically go around counting which seats are empty so as to update DeeMad with an accurate number now is it? As well as those who didn't attend because of the nature of the opposition, there will also be people who couldn't attend due to family commitments given it was three days away from Christmas. End of the day the number like you say is accurate for how many seats were sold for the game. Dees are just upset because their season ticket sales are pathetic as well as on the day sales. They honestly can't see past the seethe sometimes and can't help but come on here to give us all a good laugh 🤣

Ok Shedka, I'll 'bite' and engage directly with you. One question. The first derby of the season in August it was announced that United sold out, indeed many on here, you especially, were trumpeting that fact. We had less seats allocated than at times in the past and certainly sold out the allocation we got, another fact. If you add on all non attending STs and comps, as I agree we do also, you should get have had a full house. Sundays attendance at the Celtic game was supposedly another full house based on the add on non attendees criteria. Going to your official site the official crowd for the Derby was 12616 and the official crowd for Sunday was 13662. Can you explain the difference? If all tickets are shifted and all non attendees are added in then a full house should be a regular figure but it isn't. Your 'official' 'full house' crowds are all over the place! I ask a respectful question so please don't dismiss the question as frivolous. As far as Dens attendances are concerned I reckon we add on non attendees as do all Premier Clubs (I think) but the only crowd debates on our sites are on the basis that we understate the crowds (again I don't actually agree with that reckoning our crowd figures issued are about right). Despite what you think and despite my interaction with you there are not many posters on our sites obsessed with crowd figures as you appear to be. I can't think of any on our side who don't believe you have a larger attending support than we have at home and at most away games. So there is no comparison arguments, it's not something that bothers me in any case and I don't think it bothers many 'over here'. It's just that the look of your crowds and some if the anomalies in the reporting of your crowd numbers that 'interest' us and seem out of kilter. Look forward to your explanation of the Derby and Celtic crowd anomaly. Cheers!
