Only one of those had a trophy though Terry,I think it's important we all make that clear, those over the road might see it differently of course 🤣Originally posted by TerryTheTerror View PostOur relegation was confirmed at Dens and I can't see why anyone would say different. We were terrible under Mixu and it was inevitable we were going downOriginally posted by TerryTheTerror View PostOur relegation was confirmed at Dens and I can't see why anyone would say different. We won the league at Dens and I can't see why anyone would say different.
Which ever team mathematically relegated someone is usually treated as meaningless
Eg I think last time we went down we didn?t beat Motherwell on last day which meant we were finally down
When a team gets relegated with a few games to go nobody usually pays any notice to which game finally confirmed
I just treat the whole thing as being part of the obsession
We had a good few years down sadly but the fun did nothing whilst in the top league during that time

The fact that Dees are enjoying their unprecedented 2 wins in a row is fair game.
But awarding the themselves unofficial honours for ‘being involved in United’s relegation’ is the real tell of the lifetime derby pain and humiliation they have experienced.
I wouldnÂ’t wish that on anyone (I mean it - my wife is a Dee 😆
.
But the league win, league cup and 6-2, 6-2 in particular will live long in my mind as real pleasures.
As you experience how great ‘doon’ felt, imagine what ‘League win’ felt like.
I fully expect normal service will be resumed and we will continue hammering you, especially at Dens for years to come. .

We got 3 points for winning the derby, nothing more nothing less. But given your absolute certainty we wouldn't, the exposure of the weaknesses of your world beaters, the heads gone behavior of the guy who made our goal, the foaming at the mouth of your so called fans after the game and the gibberish from your manager - it was rather pleasing.
Still trying to figure out what your rules actually meant but good to see money well spent on a one time attempt which has completely backfired.
No point discussing anything with you Shedkarse because you are by some distance, the thickest and most unhinged Utd poster on this board. It wouldn't feel like any kind of a victory making you look daft. And you're better at that than anyone.
What you on about you slavering trophy virgin, you came onto our board to slaver mince (that second paragraph a highlight) and chose a convenient year to start the derby head to head from
I chose the year before it and the year after to show how much you cherry picked it, to make you look like the wee fool you are
However what you really were saying is in the 21st century Dundee United FC have improved their derby head to head over Dundee FC
That was nice of you to highlight for us

The funs reaction to us getting a home tie with Spartans is something to behold, to say they are utterly deelusional is putting it mildly
Someone should educate them and remind them of all draws in the last twenty years and just how many more home ties they've had than us (it's not even close, they've had way more) and how many more all top flight/same division ties we've had in the same period

Please remind again how many premier league sides you met in 2010 , ffs you even got a championship side in the final ,Originally posted by shedka View PostThe funs reaction to us getting a home tie with Spartans is something to behold, to say they are utterly deelusional is putting it mildly

If you want a fact to deal with how about: it is what it is? There is a draw and sometimes you get good luck and sometimes you get bad luck. Need to say, you fellas are getting a chunt of a draw this season...Originally posted by num1adi View PostPlease remind again how many premier league sides you met in 2010 , ffs you even got a championship side in the final ,

We were talking about draws over therl last twenty years not a specific runOriginally posted by num1adi View PostPlease remind again how many premier league sides you met in 2010 , ffs you even got a championship side in the final ,
However in that run
We defeated St Johnstone in Perth
Then beat the holders Rangers going for the treble well hasn't lost a domestic cup tie in the 3-4 years since Walter Smith had returned, despite them being given two very soft pens we came from 3-1 down that day to force a replay at Tannadice
The rest was even better
We defeated Raith in the semi final who had knocked out the sheep at pittodrie and you lot at dens (in the round we beat Rangers)
Then beat County who had knocked out Hibs and then Celtic in front of 28500 United fans in the Hampden sunshine

We knocked out the old Rangers on the way to winning the trophy to answer your question. Now here's one for you, how many people on the entire planet are still alive that were alive the last time your lot won the Scottish Cup? Wee clue, her name's Ethel 🤣Originally posted by num1adi View PostPlease remind again how many premier league sides you met in 2010 , ffs you even got a championship side in the final ,
