    Was it ever in doubt?
The fact that the training facilities are proposed to be on the publicly owned, gifted to the people of Dundee Camperdown Park means it's not just a major doubt, it's a phucking red line. I'm pretty sure there will be (quite rightly) a heap of objections to this should it go to planning permission.

Genuinely think the owners are con men. Been the same for quite a lot of owners of Dundee. Unfortunately the BNB loyal rather focus on us and our debt, owners etc. Some seem to have woken up though but it seems like a perfect disaster about to happen with relegation too. Being totally neutral after investing heavily on 3 strikers and relying on external funding for Charlie relegation is going to hammer them.

Being totally un neutral - thats fvcking pleasing as fvkc

Taking away the fact it's the fun, that's the biggest thing for me, seeing the training pitches on that area, how would that be allowed, access looks a major issue and would the noise be closed enough (if there was a big team visiting like Utd) to affect the animals at Campy zoo? Particular an evening game

The ground itself is better than dens but got a modern lego affair is alright if it ever became reality, still be the second best stadium in the city right enough

        • Seriously who cares .. why are we even discussing this ??
On one hand people on here continually saying all they do is focus on us, then you come on here and we have dedicate an entire thread to them ??

Personally taking off the tangerine tinted specs for a second , this facility , if it happens, would be a great thing for the city in terms of someplace that could hold concerts ( something neither Tannadice or Dens are suitable for ) and other leisure facilities rumoured to be included .

Aside from that i couldn't care less .

So you're OK with them taking up a chunk of Camperdown Park?

            • Someone not understanding a city rivalry, fans of both teams have discussed events across the road both ways since the forums begun... Back before this forum started in 2002 it was the same over on rivals.net, the funsters were louder then as was during bonettis first season and they thought we were going doon, they were seek when we turned it round second half of the season and survived at McDiarmid from 2-0 doon

Personally I get a whole lot of pleasure laughing at the plight of the FUN.

There is little that makes me giggle so much.

They never fail to leave me in stitches.

                Hospitality ... tree .. flare ... trolley .. fox ... doon glasses ... Nou Campy ... ... No means Yes ...

Life just wouldn't be the same without them.

At least your Grandfather would have kissed silver. (if he is over 65)

                      • Could these elaborate plans be a big red herring and what The Fun’s Yankee doodles actually plan to do is play their games at Camperdown right enough, but on one of the old cooncil pitches? Few stakes in the ground and ring the pitch with rope to hold back the baying whores. Obviously to achieve the monumentous happening, The Fun would need to drop like a stone out of professional fitba and into the amateur leagues, some might say they have started this already. Once again, just a thought.

                          • The Texans need to get their money back and this is the only avenue left open to them.I'm not sure if posters are aware but the new stadium will not be owned by DFC it will be rented to them by FPS.One day in the future the Texans will sell up but will still be able to recover millions in losses incurred through a mega lease that DFC will be tied to.

It may well be that in the future the Dees will finally get an owner who wants to buy the new stadium and gift it back to the club but either way Tim Keyes will get back most if not all the money he has invested.Failure to deliver the new stadium would leave Keyes millions in the red so he really needs to deliver the new facility regardless of the league the club are in.

Will the monorail be available to the general public? If so could be a nice little earner
