It may well be that in the future the Dees will finally get an owner who wants to buy the new stadium and gift it back to the club but either way Tim Keyes will get back most if not all the money he has invested.Failure to deliver the new stadium would leave Keyes millions in the red so he really needs to deliver the new facility regardless of the league the club are in.
A lot of what you say makes sense but you sound a lot more hopeful than I am

I maybe missed it, but why would the Texans sell the new stadium? Surely they would not want to burden the new owners when they have not taken on the burden that is The Coup!

          Sorry Gunboat
So DFC will not own their own stadium? ...
... Will they own the crematorium? ...
... Will they own the training ground and hotel?...
Oh dear ... what a tangled web they weave...
I don't like the sheds they hope to build anyway...
A ground to be proud of needs an interesting architecture that the fans can identify with...
It's not happening anyway... We know that ... so at least they could be adventurous with their vision ... instead of four corrugated sheds... Which might end up with only two ... and two more to be built ... when they get back to the Premiership... Like never...

So why exactly will your grandfather mind if I split my sides over an absurd, laughable football club if your grandfather doesn't actually like football.
Maybe he was a Dundee FC fan as he didn't like football. I can see the logic in that right enough.

A lot of sense in your post G, however, The Fun’s plans have a very serious problem which was brought to their attention when they first mooted the idea, and that is access and exits for vehicles. On that site there is only one way in and out, and that is at the wee circle at Camperdown Park main entrance and that would definitely not be able to handle fitba traffic. It would take a massive road building job to handle the amount of traffic and there ain’t much room around that site for any roads to be built, and the disruption it would cause would be phukkin mental. The funster yanks may well see it as a last throw of the dice to recoup the dollars, but deep doon they’ll know it’s a phukked up idea and my guess is they’ll push hard to progress this to Committee for approval knowing it’ll get knocked back, and that’ll give them the green light to phukk off back over the pond citing ‘small minded council officers’ as the reason for them leaving.

This is where the 2nd phase of plans come in. As Nelms said this has gone on too long lets do it, lets get started its time etc etc etc. Confidential plans attached.

                  Love the drawing Shedboy.

I think the monorail should have a DFC crest and "Dee for Life" on it though.

Because Funster logic says all our Grandfathers supported the fun does it not?

Seen as ive got my coat now, closer to the truth is there was hardly any divide in the past and fans watched both teams.

Im sure they also want the cooncil to help pay for this as well so it should be a non starter right from the off.

                      • Lovely drawing from Shedboy but i need more clarity.Only a James McLean drawing of the new stadium will suffice.

And combat/section 18 should be getting a mention?

Nice work. A true reflection and assessment.
