Yeh next season is to be the last. HOWEVER, Raith, Falkirk, Livi and I think a few others are lodging an appeal which knowing the SPFL will end up being successful as they’ll likely schite themselves over possible retaliatory legal action in the event of upholding the ban. How anyone can say that there’s no sporting advantage gained is living in cloud cuckoo land. Killie’s home/away points split this season is just taking the piss. In many ways it’s no different to tennis - it’s the same sport with the same rules but can be played out completely differently dictated by the surface which favours some players over others depending on what suits their game. It’s a phucking joke.Originally posted by Arabdownsouth View PostHave they not already banned plastic pitches after next season?

All this shyte about clubs appealing the ban and not being able to afford grass pitches should get down and f*cking stay down then. Didn't all top flight clubs have to get their stadiums in order in the past to be allowed to play at that level? I seem to remember some clubs being refused promotion if they weren't up to scratch. Same should apply, f*ck em!

Do you genuinely not see the irony in complaining about a team changing their name 😅Originally posted by Burach11 View PostSo that's the Plastic Cheats in the "Top Flight" Even more galling is that this club who have had more name changes than The Rangers, Old Co New Co and Sevco were even admitted to the Scottish League. Ferranti Thistle were admitted in preference to one of the Inverness Clubs. Just imagine the wee moany central Scotland voices " Oh no we can't have that what travel to Inverness once a year oh dear no and what if we get them in the cup that would mean two journeys oh no no no" So Ferranti Thistle changed their name to Meadowbank Thistle and changed it gain to Livingston. No chance of getting plastic pitches out now as any vote will only fail by 9-3. That number was a disaster for Scottish Football a good few years back. Laugh at the SPFL never going to be able to stop.

Congratulations to Micky Mellon for getting Oldham back in the league at weekend. I know the football wasn't great under him but it was a strange season with no fans and he had to work with TA. Difficult to assess his time at United for those reasons but best of luck to him.

Yeah that's fair enough, also I had a tenner on him at 20-1 to get the United job so he was always in my good books anyway 🤣Originally posted by arab777 View PostCongratulations to Micky Mellon for getting Oldham back in the league at weekend. I don't blame the keeper at all. Why on earth is he even in the squad and on the bench? Ridiculous decision that has made Clarke look very stupid.Originally posted by Stoke_Arab View PostSteve Clarke has discovered a worse keeper than Birighitti.
I dont blame the keeper, but I want this manager away from Scotland.
He's been failing for a long time, bottled 2 Euros after doing well in qualifying but it's time for change.

I thought I heard the commentator saying that the sub keeper had played 9 minutes of football this past season - is that right? How can you get in a national team if you're not even playing for your club?
Also, something familiar about that Iceland manager - feel like I know him from somewhere…

Craig Gordon, Xander Clarke, Liam Kelly all injured and then obviously Angus Gunn went down injured and before that apparently Robbie McCrorie broke down during the warm up so he was forced to bring this guy on with no other option left. Having said that Steve Clarke did select him after all when he could have had ex Hun Jon McLaughlin or Ross Doohan who has games under his belt for the SSBs this season. So ultimately the manager did select him and because of that has to take the responsibility for last night. I think Clarke has run his course but the natural time for him to have gone was after last season’s Euros when they could have got Moyes in but that ship has now sailed. Now I’m of the mind that he should only be emptied if there is a viable replacement lined up. The problem now is I’ve no idea who that may now be………..Originally posted by TerryTheTerror View PostI don't blame the keeper at all. Why on earth is he even in the squad and on the bench? According to the BBC he was at Dundee United when Steven Thompson was playing for us, but didn’t get many games.Originally posted by PT_Arab View PostI thought I heard the commentator saying that the sub keeper had played 9 minutes of football this past season - is that right?
