Thats seriously disrespectful to the elders of our support who more than likely had the honour to watch that team, and an emerging United team without modern prejudice.

GB isn't dealing in prejudice, just facts.

1600+ lower than any championship attendance last season at Tannadice

Don't think we need to compare these days as if you take away crowds off our attendance this season and our average home support us is around 7500-8000, a couple thousand more than the total average of the likes of Killie, St Mirren, the fun and Motherwell, it's only really lazy media, clueless pundits and the odd deeluded in deenial funster lump us in with them like we are same size of fanbase

8,402 yesterday with 486 Killie (would have expected 700-800 from them)

First sub 8000 home support and only just

Another very decent turnout though given the weather, the time of year with a couple weeks to Christmas be a lot of work days and shopping/market days out

Average for season now 10,174 with the next four home games being Celtic,Sheep, Hearts and Sevco

Atleast 3 of these will be 11k minimum, Hearts possibly 9-10k depending on form of both teams next 3 weeks

Would have been higher yesterday but I'm sure a few are saving up for a very long run of big games to come. Plus Xmas which tbf would affect the Funsters too.
But that 5381 Scotfoam Carnegie Blantyre Johnson Frame Arbuthnot Cabin Catering Fox Bedding Co Limited at Denz....
                  is truly pathetic.

When the Funsters rarely accept the reality, one of the things they point to is our community initiatives as a major factor.

Trying to take off my Tangerine specs I would say that Dundee FC has over a few years become a bit unfashionable.
There's a long list of reasons why United became fashionable and continue to grow support but listing them all would be a very long post.

See this was put on in the official yesterday

"Almost seven thousand Arabs have staked their claim in the stands - setting a record-breaking milestone and highlighting the unbelievable backing of the Tangerine Army!

Our strong start has us perched in fourth after 18 rolls of the Premiership dice - and with more challenges up ahead, we?re determined to dig in, maintain our focus, and keep pushing forward - all with you behind us.

The excitement doesn?t stop there. You can join the 6,736 strong Tangerine Army"

13581 v the Sheepies. Dundee United 1 Sheep Shaggers 0 This was a match where United dominated but couldn't find the winner until the last minute. When they did 😆

I did see three empty seats though, very worrying.

Less than 1000 below the capacity of Dens including the DR Noodles suite.

Last time Dens saw 5 figures we were the visitors in Feb 2022

Tannadice has saw 8 this year alone including 3 championship games (Vs Raith, Ayr and Partick)
