He was sent home from international duty before kicking a ball due to a tight groin. Apparently he has a history of groin trouble but it does sound very much like it was a precautionary measure and is expected to be ok for the weekend.

So we'll see him in January no doubt! 😮

The BBC are f*cking hopeless, I wouldn't put too much stock in what they report tbh. They just haven't bothered to amend the injury list by the look of things. Jim has already said the squad will be pretty much the same
