No access to message boards outside UK or US

After not being able to open the message board (any footymad board) I've found out that other than the UK or US they can't be accessed. Hopefully just a temporary thing. (I'm on a VPN). Just in case there's others out there wondering wtf is going on.

I'm guessing it's in an effort to prevent the DoS attacks they've been plagued with.

Think Japan is right. I'm in Spain. If I use my home wifi I'm denied access.
If I use my UK mobile phone, they think I'm in the UK so grant access.
It's a massive pain because data on my UK number would soon run out.
I might check the board in the morning then late at night but that's it.
Hope they change their minds.

I finally figured it out using this site

https://www.host-tracker.com/en/ic/check-http

Before a couple of days ago it was UK only access which has now changed to include the States. So might change again in the future.

I guess a VPN to make it think you're in the UK will do the job. Probably a cost involved though.

Yep. That?s it back to normal now. They must?ve stuck 50p in the meter.

Proton vpn will do the job and it’s free.
