  • Fixtures out tomorrow

Hoping to avoid a derby opener, with us playing Europe on the Thurs night away, don't want to give them any advantage

Falkirk away for their curtain raiser? Would need to need Sunday though, better if it was Hibs or Sevco if they are playing midweek too

    I bet it's Celtic away.

A home fixture would be ideal. Falkirk or Motherwell maybe but really it doesn't matter much who we get.

Falkirk will be at home as they were Champions last season for the flag raising malarkey. They’ll also be well up for it with a big home crowd behind hem. And also, it’s on plastic.

Bet who’s going there first then…………….

Edit to add - just like we were at Killie 3 years ago

Falkirk away. A very tricky opening fixture. Flag day, plastic pitch.

It?s definitely a tricky start and before the split it?s 2/3 against old firm so we won?t be getting many points then

Xmas matches quite good with Hibs at home and away to sheep

              2 away derbies

Pretty balanced fixture list in terms of when the games against Dundee & Aiberdeen fall.

The reality is that every game & every point will need to be fervently contested to be won or drawn.

Be it with guile, gusto, guts; or more likely a combination of all three, we all know this league is no place for the faint-hearted.

One saving grace is that we’ve got both Killie and Livi at home twice pre split so it’s two potential less games on plastic thank phuck.
