      Hi Alfie
      Something odd is doing on
I have asked for help on CM
I have asked for help in the backroom as well
I have said Alfie can't get in to CM asking for their help

      Weird for me too
Every time I tried to post on there it logged me out everytime and had to log back in again to see if my post had stuck

Below is a copy and pasted convo between BT of CM and Gary from FM
"I have obviously been pestering to get the site back up and running but the issue went right across the Footymad sites.

Just to keep you all in the loop:

      Hi BT

We?re fully aware of the tech issues across Footymad and are working hard to stabilise the sites.

We?ve implemented a content delivery network to counteract recent DDOS attacks and have implemented other measures to reduce strain on the servers.

      Thanks for your patience.

      Regards
      Gary"
      End
Hope you get sorted soon alfie
I checked to see if there were any markers by your name and it showed 0

We're all having problems. The Burnley FC link doesn't work but if you can click on Turfites Talk it does."

There you go Alfie, that is the answer to your problem, footymad has minimised your posting to reduce the strain on the sites,I can remember whenever I went onto a clubs forum you would be there posting something or other and not a random post either, they all knew you had a regular, the strain has probably been reduced by 50% 🤣

Have you tried registering a new username Alf and use that until it's sorted out?

                            What is a DDoS attack?
A Denial of Service (DoS) attack is a malicious attempt to affect the availability of a targeted system, such as a website or application, to legitimate end users. Typically, attackers generate large volumes of packets or requests ultimately overwhelming the target system. In case of a Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack, and the attacker uses multiple compromised or controlled sources to generate the attack.

In general, DDoS attacks can be segregated by which layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model they attack. They are most common at the Network (layer 3), Transport (Layer 4), Presentation (Layer 6) and Application (Layer 7) Layers.
                            As if you didn't know
