The ship has probably already sailed.

Either they should have got rid in May or June with time to get a decent manager in with a full summer or in the period when Nuno was available and it was obvious Farke?s faults were still there. Maybe they felt a tad guilty for how the transfer window ended but sacking him in December or January when there will be few decent candidates available and little time to work magic is probably worse that sticking with him.

I’d go back for big Sam before I’d go for Gerrard

Some of Farke?s post match comments suggest he is either too defensive or at times isn?t seeing what the rest of us are.

Dyche is no mug and Forest have an incredible squad. Don?t think we will get anything out of that game as they will have too much for us.

They can’t persist with dcl much longer, bamford was better, give gray and piroe a chance please.

Strange how opinions differ - on everything but the scoring but think DCL has been excellent - he just doesn?t have the quality around him to exploit his hold up play or flick ons.

Piroe can?t do any of that.

Perhaps Gray could? I guess we'll never know.

Not sure on the comment on Piroe. I've seen at least 10 crosses this year go across the goal where DCL could not get to the ball to tap it in. It's not always about pace and quickness. Sometimes it's about just reading the play and getting in the right position. I never thought of that as a strength for Piroe but not sure he can do any worse than DCL has in that regard. We do know that if Piroe gets a crack at the ball he's pretty good about putting it in the back of the net.

we do put a lot of balls across the box. when I watch us I often can't help but think how many more we seem to put across than our opponents.

I believe that Harry is pretty fast and quick reflexes. Not the ariel threat that DCL is but if he gets there for the tap in

Play both up front, I just don’t get this one up front modern day crap, toshak/keegan, shearer/sutton, the list is endless, works the back four, stops left and right backs bombing forward as the front two splits the back four….smith/viduka….just give it a try.

I don?t believe they will sack Farke yet. He's still on course for a point a game. Until that starts looking unrealistic, and unless there is substantial fan unrest he will be in charge. I can?t see us getting anything at Forest. The Villa game may be pivotal, lose that and then the games that follow - City, Chelsea & Liverpool which is a distinct possibility and panicki mode may just creep in.

I?m resigned to Championship football again but I mean, what?s the point of it all. What a waste.

Exactly, what is the point of it all, drop to the championship just to try to get back to where we are now, I used to love football but I?m quickly getting to the beyond caring bit, as it all seems pointless to other things in life, all very depressing.

It's important to wait long enough on the sacking to ensure that we are firmly entrenched in the relegation zone. It's also important to break the will and spirit of the players not good enough such as Gray, Cresswell and Piroe.

Maybe we can loan them out in january or sell them for bargain prices like we did with some of our other players that couldn't make the grade such as the older Cresswell or Davis.

I'm generally a supporter of our current owners. They are very good in the NFL world.

However, I do think this is a case of a lack of understanding of the English Football world. They are very steady and stick with coaches longer than many other owners but they also fail to understand the nature of the football season. The NFL has a much lower number of games. Regular season is 16 if I recall right. Much more compressed. What is odd is the the 49's are quicker than most teams to get rid of "star players". They kind of practice the "team before self" mantra. Especially in key positions such as Quarterback or Wide receivers. They are one of the best on having "the next man up" tactic. If you play for them you know you better earn your spot each week.

Farke does not practice this at all. A player has a couple of poor performances and they still are slotted in. A weird disconnect and one likley to get us relegated.
