F u c.k I n g appalling. Diabolical defending in the first half and two periods of extra time I fell asleep in. And the "penalty shoot out"???

F u c k me, that was the worst demonstration of penalty taking by "professional" football players (from both sides) in the history of professional football.

        Italy will tear us apart.

Women's football is artificially hyped up by the woke. The standard is appalling. Remember, a 14 year old boys team best the Swiss women's team, 7-1. Refuse to watch it. Got better things to do, and I don't even recognize it as real football.

Yes 100 percent. But I watch it because its at a standard i recognise when I was able to play myself, and i was bad.

What do you guys expect from a sport dominated by the sickos called lesbians?

Say that in public over here mate and you would find yourself doing a stretch at his Majesty's pleasure lol!!

What I like about it is the general honesty and joy rather than the cynical cheating diving game that we have come to expect in mens football - hasn't completely tainted the womens game yet.
Yes the quality is nowhere near that of the mens game, but it reminds me of when I watched my lad play football when still quite young, both teams where about equal, they played and enjoyed the game, and they wheren't great but it was a pleasure to watch...unlike the cynical one who hasn't quiet left us as predicted, I enjoy the simplicity.
Thought the penalty shoot out last night was entertaining to say the least !!

                      Clearly watching through rose-tinted glasses.

There was as much "game playing" in the England v Sweden match, by both sides, as in any other professional game, just much more clumsy and obvious.

As for your whimsical recollections and the warm feelings they reflect, I suspect that despite being criticised, if the women are really true to the aspiration of being real footballing talent, they will value the "real world" observations of myself and others regarung their performance far more than the patronising, condescending tripe from you and those who share similar views.

I do wonder what will happen when men start playing. The first team that takes them in will obliterate any team made up of just women
