After another weekend of misery, the mystery of Gnonto not even being in the match day squad seems to have been overlooked, anybody got an inkling of why?

As I stated in the Head Coach thread Gnontos injury was being 'managed' along with other players currently. Farke stated as such below.Originally posted by norfolk white View PostAfter another weekend of misery, the mystery of Gnonto not even being in the match day squad seems to have been overlooked, anybody got an inkling of why?
'We decided after he was out for such a long time it was an option to take him with us for the bench, but regarding the training week we did not want to take the risk. We have two more weeks for him in training now. We thought for this game to bring him in from the bench it's not right to take the risk. He will have a bit of a pre-season with two more weeks, so more or less four weeks of training before a return'.
Suppose for some folks they are now defo in that 'annoying phase of time' where everything DF now utters gets disected into the most negative manner possible & regurgitated to total bollux by the retired pros posing as punters in the know. But thats emotion for you involving footballs criteria to generate a story.
Leading into now a piece about does a change of a Manager lead to more injuries ?,
Answered below. 😳
Physiotherapist Ben Warburton says it's "very well known" that a new coach of a team will prompt "an increase of injury incidence".
Jeez, gonna stick to my van conversion in any free time I have for next 2bweeks to help ease the mind back into positivity mode, phew. 👍

I thought the same thing.
I"m guessing he's been deemed surplus by our coach. I understand he's coming back from injury but if he waits much longer we be mathematically elimanated from the prem. It does say he's training with the squad and not just by himself.

Did you listen to Farke?s comments about James. Said he didn?t start as he isn?t in form - only way to get form is to play him - coming out with some complete and utter tosh at the moment like blaming the ref for the result.Originally posted by norfolk white View PostIt certainly smacks of sheer ignorance if that?s the case, Harrison just doesn?t look interested, and arronsson is not up to the job farke keeps asking of him, I know Gnonto has been injured and surely MUST be in the starting eleven v villa.

Absolute rubbish !Originally posted by hopelesslyoptimistic View PostTotally - imagine feeling you are sat behind Harrison and Aaronson in the pecking order 🙈
Gnonto wont be imaging being 3rd in pecking order as hes recovering from hernia surgery after calf muscle problems & has been in progressive rehabilitation at TA hoping to get back within 3 month time frame
This flow of harping on, nitpicking, faultfinding continually looking for faults is of your choice but lets get real on some points please H. 🤗
Possibly the last person I would tag such comments upon but the 'censorious' language your inflicting on my ear drums of late suggests that a mandatory sacking of DF MUST be done for the sun to shine again over your head which I & others respect is your wish.
Our players have to show more responsibility, plus our recruitment officers & ownership too who are responsible for player acquisition, contract negotiations & overall resource allocation like funding for staff, facilities, etc. So what about them ?
Maybe privately DF may tell you he might not have the players needed to implement the desired system as the 'front-office' fails to acquire them so hes honestly doing the best he can. Certainly in pre-season you had plenty to say about nothing happening whilst all around were doing biz, including Sunderland I recall.
Hope you get your wish for another new coach but I shall refer you to above situ behind the scenes if its yet again another ground hog day. Hopefully your desired new dawn will get you back to being the bloke of sanguine enthusiasm that I Iiked on every thread again soon. 👍

You may be right on the harping and scapegoating but I can?t help but point out that this is a squad that played some very good football up until the burnley match. A couple of bounces are way and we are top 10.
We?ve now lost 3 Winable games and look awful doing it. Our team quit on us. Coach has lost the team and is out of ideas to fix it
Waiting will add nothing of value to our season. We learned that the hard was last relegation season

Gnonto hasn't been given adequate game time BEFORE his injury. We all want to see him fit and back in the side giving the team the benefit of his skill and above all his energy and enthusiasm, something we sadly lack and if he needs mire time to get there, so be it, but.......I for one (and I suspect in not alone), that even fully fit he won't be given a start, and any substitute performance will be VERY limited.Originally posted by Monaco_Totty View PostAbsolute rubbish !

Not sure what you are on about MT - I have set out endlessly what I perceive Farkes faults to be and for several seasons,
He has a documented history of not picking young players he even spoke about it earlier in the season. I cited the interview.
Lots of pundits are saying exactly the same as I have been.
Not sure why you suddenly need to attack me and my views for someone who talks about mental health challenges I would have expected a lot lot more.
You may not like what Im saying but it doesnt mean its wrong. Just saying I am wrong or you dont like it but I have been consistent on a lot of the points and explained why. I dont expect you to agree its just my thoughts and you are more than capable of forming your own thoughts.
I have paid my hard earned money several times this season and a fair few last to watch us play and the flaws are there.
Your criticism maybe should be directed at some of the nonsense coming out of Farkes mouth.
Adam Pope, Graham Smyth, Jon Newsone, TSB and various others have uttered similar things - the YEP even has an article on most of these subjects today.
Speak to Charlie Cresswells dad privately and get his thoughts, Listen to Todd Cantwell who has spoken about his time as a young player at Norwich under Farke and how it affected his mental health, read what Matteo Jospeh has had to say.
There is an endless list of- sorry for pointing all of this out and that it does not fit in with your not willing to accept the criticisms.
The 49ers being niave and having a less than ideal window does not make Farke immune from criticism.
Read back your personal comments about me over the last few weeks and get over yourself.
