It seems most troublesome that a player that has one brilliant game is now supposedly going to save us from relegation. A player that couldn't break into the spurs lineup is not going to be our savior. The amount of money we are going to spend would likely have gotten us Mitrovic for the season on loan just to name one that can do the job in the prem.

While I have no use for international football I do understand that its one of a players highlights to represent their country on the pitch. I'm sure this was an apex game for him.

I seem to recall another player that was going to save us from relegation. I believe he played under 90 minutes for us and cost us 10's of million of dollars.

It does seem hopeless for us at striker.

Just sleepwalking into relegation.
All that time after we clinched promotion to get us a striker and we end up with 2 freebies who won't score the goals to keep us up.
The real clue for me this season was keeping Aaronson and Harrison , they should have both be loaned out/sold/free transfer soon as last season finished. Neither are good enough and both will play a part in taking us down.

Piss poor from the 49ers and it feels like they are just feckin chancers looking to make a quick buck.

Hopefully I am wrong but it feels like we have watched this movie before.....

Unless they come up with a miracle in the January sales, which I doubt, I fear by then we will be entrenched in the bottom 3, and sadly it may be already to late, as any normal player wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole.

I think the best we could hope for is a loan for a player that wants to prove themselves in the prem. Preferably one with a huge chip on his shoulder that wants to rub his teams face in it.

Of course, we do have a young player sitting the bench that we are going to loan out....
