Neither for me…
Remember just after we gained promotion? Most of us just hoped and wanted in our first season back to finish 17 or with luck higher. We all knew the score….hey guess what! We were happy with a 17th place finish? We knew this is were will fight out our battles this first season, the bottom 5 or 6.
Imo a change of manager won’t make much difference. Just my opinion before I get slaughtered.

I cannot explain it but when Norwich went down with Farke, they would play well initially then the opponents would score and Norwich would wind up losing. Same with Wilder's Blades. I notice that the opponents have worked out that they need to press Leeds high on the pitch for entire match. I am not sure a new manager will that much help initially. Regardless who is manager, they have to be brave and make subs earlier.

Wonder what Steve Evans, Dave Hockaday or Neil Warnock are up to 🤣🤣🤣🤣Originally posted by cherrypie7 View PostI cannot explain it but when Norwich went down with Farke, they would play well initially then the opponents would score and Norwich would wind up losing. Not sure we have the right squad for either Rogers or Ange.
If we try and sign Roger?s no doubt we will be printing the fella on the board by accident.

Bielsa needs to come back with money behind him. We would then begin a cult experience again with exciting attractive football. But he would need to be backed. IÂ’m not convinced the 49ers are capable of doing that. TheyÂ’re purely in with us on a transactional basis only. Pure investment return is the order of their day and nowt else.
A target of finishing 17th is a sign of zero ambition imo.

Did Farke really tell the team that 17th was the target?Originally posted by Pacaman View PostBielsa needs to come back with money behind him. People think a new manager may perform a miracle! But the true nature is that they inherit a squad none of their making. Problems arise, is it the manager or the players, as most of the time it's the players that don't want to play. Ala Liverpool wins the Premier League next season, they won't play for him. What do you do in this situation? Well, you have to remedy the damage, and the easiest way is to depart with one. We brought in what 11 or 12, but apart from longstaff, the others aren't much. The only thing is by swapping managers early, you give yourself some chance of changing things rather than as it was. Rodgers has failed in the Premier League, so do you want much of a likeness? Ange won't come and others like Gerard, well, wtf. zzzzzzzzzIf we get thumped today well it has to be his last game; if not, there is more of a problem, rather manager-player issue.Originally posted by george_kaplan View PostNeither for me?

It’s the 49er's who said it Billy. It’s in the presentation put out by them to attract the £100-£120m of new investment for the stadium expansion. Farke is just repeating what they said was their aim.Originally posted by Billyni View PostDid Farke really tell the team that 17th was the target?

ItÂ’s only my opinion but for me they should be called out. No better than the buffoons running Manure

Different times Norfolk , taking nothing away from that amazing side of the 60/70s who could do it all but the Football we played under Bielsa was the best Football I have seen in all my years supporting Leeds.
Another what might have been had Bielsa been properly backed.

respecting the opinions and experiences of others even when they differ from your own comes to mind.
.......... guess its how we form our own opinions ultimately that ceates interest..........
conflict of interest often limits what i can say on here so my tone is not intended to come across as being pompous........... only as fair comment, ok.
......... being present at situ prevents overthinking in curiosity and helps recall for enhancing ones memory for comment.
as a legal translator i often work closely with entertainment and sporting agencies........ football agencies specifically offer target components to help clubs internal teams build an approach that reflects their club values......... including helping player recruitment and player integration into new countries which i often help coordinate providing hands on assistance translating.
Sportsfive is one such company who offer football markets expertise to boost clubs reputation while strengthening clubs commercial power both locally and nationally.......coincidently Ligue 1 team Toulouse FC is contracted to Sportsfive so i am personally fully aware of how that club helps their new players bed into a new country.........
.......... from memory Charlie Cresswell, his brother Alfie Cresswell, their dad Richard Cresswell, Archie Gray, his brother Harry Gray, their dad Andy Gray all financially hold links to Leeds based player agent Hayden Evans......... with all connected financially to Blue Sky Sports football agency........ in various roles.
often read coments on treatment of our younger players........ i think its fair to point out that all players i have mentioned above were happy to move and said players families were also more than happy to allow their other younger prodigies to later sign new contracts at Leeds after older brothers had moved on.
both recent signings of Harry Gray and Alfie Cresswell were both made with the knowledge that game time may involve loan moves to muscle out getting regular competitive match time........ maybe not the sole blanket assertion the headline grabbers like to put across in their media hunting pack reports....... that often culminate in excessive finger pointing pinning blame tags onto........ to getting reads.
forty years dealing direct with media, music and sports agents requires ears to listen out for excessive flattery, compliments and over the top politeness......... as excessive flattery is often a tactic to mask truer feelings or intentions....... in my working experience better to always beware of any talent being offered and proceed with caution........
not been reading many objective comments about young players development on here.
....... i do not think bench warming is the answer for young development.....competitive regular match time is though........ obviously not obtainable at PL Leeds this season but elsewhere would benefit some is my assessment......Liam Rosenior of Strasbourg certainly does well on it.
a good argument was also put forward regarding Harry Grays possible development....... opening eyes into why young English players do benefit being loaned out to help development.

many tough calls made in a players career curve......... as Joe Gelhardt agent Paul Stretford knows......and indeed all footballers families know.......
in conclusion by substantiation.......many factors conclude into why young footballers are let go whether at Leeds or elsewhere....... simply money !

postremo;
2025/26 realistically never was going to be a great season as survival was the only possible objective........ pretty football was not a priority requisite from our owners as fighting muscle gets better results in battles and most weekly match attendees of a certain age will know exactly what i mean.........but as in life plenty of twists and turns yet to endure after this stage of our PL baptism.........and no doubt many differing thoughts offered along the way.......
