Interwebs stating he's been put up for sale by the Saudi Team

The guy is an incredible striker. Freakishly good. He's also so fiery that who knows what effect he has on a locker room, coach or the FA over the course of a season.

If one of the big teams want to take that on he won't be up for grabs anyway but could be interesting if no one comes calling. He would be very expensive for the risk he brings.

Looks like a loan deal is being suggested if he comes to the UK

Can you imagine that guy in a Leeds kit?

He could end up with a crazy amount of goals?. Or a season of suspensions

Horrible horrible player, but you’d want him in your team.

The rumours are he wants to come back to the PL this season. Hefty wages apparently 400k PW so those will need to drop significantly.

The Saudis splashed the cash a few seasons back trying to create the worlds biggest league - think Ronaldo got paid 750m - crazy crazy crazy economics

Mitrovic now wants out have banked 20m a season tax free for the last few seasons.

                    Mitro ?

I love the way this guy plays his football, defo terrifying to play against & mesmerising to watch over 90 mins.
Mitrovic is a classic case of ESTP- aka Extraverted, Sensing, Thinking, Perceiving personality process, generally found in many Serbs mentality & in my bloodline too. ☺

The core aspect of the ESTP personality is the desire to conquer or fight for the sake of the experience. Folks with such a persona are generally good at perceiving peoples attitudes & motivations & are quick decision-makers. They are energetic, live in the present moment & are skilled at improvisation & innovation.

You can absolutely guarantee that Mitrovic will be the subject of every pre-match discussion in opposition dressing rooms. There will be a couple of defenders who will spend much of the time trying to kick him, wind him up, square up to him or give him a dig when the referee ain't looking. They think he will retaliate & they hope he will - so maybe a fire-cracker who can be handled carefully by DF who did well with Pukki at Norwich tactically & curbed the strikers brutal opinions of how his team mates should perform around him.

When looking for weaknesses in any opponent, then Mitrovics 'reputation' is a weakness for sure, whether we like it or not & thats the dilemma for managing him for sure.
He can be sluggish movement wise & his positional play isn?t always great too but for me, the priority would be to get Mitro to focus on playing football & nothing else & then you will get the best out of him as Rafa did when he managed him well at Newcastle.
His stats are brill when hes on fire but he has to believe in the cause of the moment & have total commitment around him 'tho.
Suppose we can dream 'tho transfer wise.

                    Just saying

The rumour mill today suggests we have been offered him for about 26m - as his club have signed the bloke from Liverpool.

Wages will be the issue I suspect but he would deffo be a big upgrade.

Hope we push through the El Khannous deal before the release clause expires - the clock is ticking more and more loudly as the count down to the season begins.

Yep the same one - he would have to drop down to 60 or 70k per week but if he wants back to the EPL then it?s a compromise he?d have to make.

Oz, You saw a different player than I did. Every once in a while a striker comes along that you just know is going to score when he gets the ball in the right situation. One of the ones I'll never forget seeing was Drodgba. In his prime at Chelsea he was automatic if he got a real oppportunity. This guy struck me as the same.

Like MT"s post stated. They are driven in ways normal people aren't. I tend to think of them as "head cases". Not scientific but kind of accurate.

Some of the best strikers I was fortunate to play with were very unpleasant to be around during the game but they were so effective. Not "team players". Keepers are also often like that.

                            Wages are a different matter.

When in the mood Mitrovic is almost unplayable. Unbelievably strong in the air too.

The boy seems to definitely know where the net is.
