Forget if I'm wrong but haven't we been trying to get a bigger stadium even when the crazy Italian had us and every time this farking council held it up? So now we have the all clear does that mean while it gets build we will be playing elsewhere? If so where abouts.
An extra 17 18 thousand seats will be wild.

The club statement says they will play at Elland Road throughout the expansion (And also aim to keep the unique vibrant atmosphere on its completion)

That's great, as other clubs that have done this had to play elsewhere. By the pics of the planned expansion, it looks amazing.

Category 4, the highest rating, means we will be able to hold European Finals

Wonder if the club will pump money into the Holbeck viaduct project now. Old disused rail viaduct that goes from by the old YEP building to close to the ground. Charity trying to turn it into a public realm walkway

right mess now around old YEP building area.....

regular tram route from Headingley, Leeds city centre, town hall and Elland Road via the number 6 trolley tram.......... as seen in 1952 pic......... with stands of Lowfields Road and Scratching Shed to its right.
Leeds tram service ran from 1870 until 1959...... so much for efficient progress and not many Burnley fans on above tram either Alf.........
