JSL imo aint worth more than ?20mil, we were willing to spend near ?30mil for paixao, who although plays a different position, will be a better player than JSL, JSL is bang outa form and wouldnt be a definite starter in the 11

Brentford rolling over for the scabs now ffs pretty shocking results for us this weekend doesn't really matter about Wolves they are already gone.

On the plus side there are 4 or 5 'others' who are slipping into the mire.

Anybody else feeling a tad concerned about us potentially spend 40 big-uns given our status in the Premier is still pretty much uncertain.

I mean I don't want to be a profit of doom but if the unthinkable should happen and we have spent 40 million then won't we have to sell him on , and at a loss?

            Seems like a risky gamble.

Especially when piroe and Gnonto are sitting on the bench and Dan James will be back soon, big gamble for a player who has been no great things for wolves.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, I feel Burnley, West Ham and ourselves will gain another 19/20 points each, but that’s a very loose calculation.

                  Rev

                  Agree 100%.

Been long time since I played for anything but a league champion t shirt but I would be so pissed if I was part of a team that turned it around the way we have the last month or so and they brought a ?star? in for big money who hasn?t done squat for over a year. It really is a head scratcher. Especially with Harry on the roster along with some other pretty good youth players

The club gets slated on here for not buying players, now because they might buy. The squad is over achieving and needs quality support. This is not the championship, James is average at this level. When should they look to recruit? When we get more injuries or lose form… too late then

Good points. However, a record transfer amount for Striker has not worked out well for us.

KJA, Rutter just to name a few. Rutter ended up a brilliant player but worthless the first 1/2 season with us. It takes a while to adapt.

Yep, but it shouldn’t put us off buying a (possibly) better class player. If we stay up we will likely be breaking transfer records again. It would also be insane to bring Harry back, he will be in the mix next season, hopefully he tears up Lg1…a lad that young shouldn’t be put into a relegation fight in PL

I meant to add, our current owner?s didn?t sign those two and so far look like they know what they?re doing

No way I am slating the club for bringing players in I think it is brilliant I just have concerns with the price tag and the aftermath should we go down.

Wolves are playing hard ball but that is because they know they are going down.

They should be careful not to out price him in this window cos they will be lucky to get half of what they want in the summer.

for me, JSL is just too expensive for what wolves are wanting, and has he really pulled up that many trees in the PL? i'm not convinced
