Not a fan of anything 'red' on our kit, for sure WS.Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostYes a throw back, always loved that kit.
Maye we should have worn them in the FA Cup final matches against them.. We wore red socks at Wembley then white in replay (they wore white then yellow)
Decent alternative reads here for the genuine 'Leeds-appassionato' followers. 🤗
As in 'Sock it to 'em' !

All-white home strip (with a smattering of blue and gold trim), as per Dons desire, as.relevant today as it was in his day.Originally posted by Monaco_Totty View PostNot a fan of anything 'red' on our kit, for sure WS.

Good read Totty..... Am wondering in these modern times of 3 kits why we didnt wear the yellow kit. Am glad we didn't, as said all White with blue socks has always been a fave of mine... it's as if someone wanted to keep up the traditional attire since the 6ts of a football match breaking out at a boxing/scrap match . We rarely wear all white away with yellow or blue (please not red) socks anymore.Originally posted by Monaco_Totty View PostNot a fan of anything 'red' on our kit, for sure WS.

Some of a certain age will point out we won the1971 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup final played over 2 games, albeit on away goals wearing red in first leg in Turin.
Reading tonight an all flipping red kit against Derby too in 1973 FA Cup with Derby in blue for heavens sake. 😳
Red kit first worn against WBA in 1969 & again in 1970 at Swansea.
Hopefully never again, tho some decent badge emblems back then, imo.

My Dad thinks pic below is at Spurs not Derby ?
No badge on Bremner's shirt, for sure, & maybe banner above tunnel says Up the Spurs.
Whatever no more red, please. 😄

I say again, if we wish to honour the memory and the contribution made to LUFC by it's greatest manager and most significant influence on players and club, our home strip should be now and forever ALL WHITE, with only minimal influences of blue and gold. His wish, to be respected. Red should NEVER figure anywhere, irrespective of what sponsor we adopt.
