Anyone Else have concerns over ER Development?

Just been told we can’t renew our Fullerton Car Park season ticket. I understand this is needed to make a start on the redevelopment. Offered 2 other car parks at £380 a piece.

I’ve also been told our Corporate hospitality suite is being wreck balled in the new upgrade. Friends we’ve made over many years to disappear? I dunno but having already seen our season cards nearly double in just a few years I am trying very hard to remain positive over the ground improvements. Not easy given our yank owners will know how to suck each and every $ out of our fanbase. All I see is turmoil during the West Stand upgrade and on the roads where getting in and out of ER is a joke. Maybe we’ll be offered a hawks eye view up in the lofty East Stand whilst all this is unveiled. I remember Wembley in the play offs - we went in Club Wembley to enjoy the day. Utter rip off, soulless and poor service undertaken by agency staff who didn’t have a clue nor were bothered that they didn’t have a clue. Huge restaurant dwarfing the Hunter suite.

Suppose I should be grateful for the years I’ve enjoyed but I can’t help feel I’m going to be shunted out of my place and into somewhere I won’t like.

Hard one - ground needs to be upgraded and the surrounding area.

The Dublin games shows how much potential for growth there is.

As we get older we like things to stay as they were and fear change a little.

I can?t see many alternatives but 52k almost seems too conservative. Hope at some point the move the Luke Ale Inn and expand the South stand too as could easily redevlop that stand too.


They have used a lot of the same contractor and consultant team Liverpool used for their ground which is a good sign and the 49ers seem to have done a decent job with the SF ground too.

The proof will be in what they deliver I guess.
