26/27 LUFC pre season tour in the States. Org, Spaldy will you be going to any games? Not sure where they will play but more than likely East side. Once I know where I may get to a game or two.

I will probably be going to their match against Sunderland which will be played at the Red Bull arena in Northern NJ. Arranging with colleague to go up there by NJ Transit. He is a Scum supporter but knows Brenden aaronson and Brenden's brother.Originally posted by george_kaplan View Post -

I'm tentatively planning on the Chicago game. My wife has some medical issues going on so I always hesitate to say 100%. I'm up in Chicago a fair amount on business. I do wish it was at the Fire stadium as that's 10 minutes from my sons house! Not a bad seat in that stadium. Not sure on Soldier field.
I think they did pretty good on the locations. Tampa is a hot spot for southern football and New Jersey is where Aaronson's from. Chicago also has a lot of football fans as well.
As you know distances are so much greater than the UK or Europe. Chicago's 280 miles from my house and that's considered a short hop. New Jersey and Tampa are probably a thousand miles. The west coast is a multi day drive.
One bad thing is that there seem to be a ton of Scum and Citeh fans in chicago. See their kits everywhere up there.Comment

Spaldy/Cherrypie7 the Chicago game is a probable for me so far, although I have ‘things’ also going on, my brother…a Larpool fan! will be coming over for the tour as he does each season.
Probably a flight to Chicago for me, not sure on New Jersey as yet. I am in Vancouver but maybe Winnipeg in summer so distance cut greatly.Comment

That is a haul from BC!!! It is too bad for you they don't have a game in Seattle or Portland. Pretty avid football fans there.
If you end up doing we should try to meet up if that fits your schedule. I'm guessing there are a lot of places to grab a pint.
I'm sure we'll be in the minority. Lpool has a pretty big base here in the USComment
