The good news out of that game upon reflection is that we didn?t crumble in the face of stupid things going against us.

Even with 10 men we looked fairly solid.

Ampadu put in a real captains performance too.

So when is this blame ref going to stop it's like all refs are our enemies. Did the ref make dcl miss the penalty? Did the red card surprise? As I seen it coming way before and like I said lucky not to be two down in the first half. The fact we played better with ten than we did in the first half did the ref stop it? It's easy to blame one person all the time rather than the real problems of players managers so on.
We should have won the game we didn't it and that is it.

The ref isn't the reason we lost. However, when you pay the money that fans do to watch a game and the TV networks pays huge money for broadcast rights then it's not unreasonable to expect a competent ref.

Using your logic... why not just have a goat pasture of a pitch and put together a team that excels in aerial play. You win the majority of your games against teams that expect a decent pitch. Perhaps because the supporters and viewers expect a better product. Why not expect better officiating at this level.

I think this guy was ****ed up. Either a long night of drinking before the game or he's a meth head. The other option is he's got a swiss bank account somewhere. Either way it's hard to believe anyone is this poor at the prem level. The clown that watched Strujik wrestled to the ground was more of the swiss bank account kind of guy.

You do realise the networks are the problem? Every league in the world is the same 4 main clubs and the rest are just numbers. That's why the Everton's never get relegated and the city arsenal Chelsea pool get looked after. You watch how they save spurs also. It's all numbers to them and they control the leagues.

yeaah right open your eyes. Ask yourself who pays the bills? Why are refs so bad these days? Why do owners with criminal history allowed to own clubs? The more you look into it the more sickening it gets.
The main question to ask is if you compare the decades from 70 ,80, 90 to the modern era is football the same?

it's not a conspiracy nor a plan by the FA

It's just imcompetence. Like many things today. It's just mediocrity and lack of expectation. Like any monopoly the FA enjoys no real accountability. The refs union is a protected class by the FA. They know that there really is no way to increase the number of competent refs coming up from the lower divisions or to get rid of the incompetent ones. They might make adjustments after the season but the incompetent ones are guaranteeed a paycheck and the union is assured of their dues. The FA gets their money from the teams regardless of the quality of the product.
