Seems to me that the only person not able to see what is blindingly obvious is the one person who needs to?

There is copious evidence for all to see with eyes to see, that change is necessary and HAS been effective (and introduced by the very same person who now seems hell bent on reversion to type).

Thing is, change can be introduced and enormously effective...I'll refer to a club I have championed not just for their footballing achievements but the impact.they have had on their community, Wrexham.

No other club has ever achieved back to back to back promotions (and let's not ignore.that they lie just (on goal difference) outside the promotionpayoof positions in the Championship). Not directly relevant, except to point out that they have the same owners, same manager and original back room staff, same front of house team and several first team players (including Cleworth and Okongwo) from their non-league days.

My point here isn't so much about Wrexham per se, simply to illustrate that a club can effect change, season on season, with truly vast differences in all areas of club activity, with success (and acknowledging that money plays a pet but not a primary one), if there are the right people in the right positions.

We're not in that happy place.

To not get at least 5 points from our last 3 games is really not good enough. We have wasted a real opportunity to pull clear from the survival pack. Current form is a real worry and we just don't look like scoring , 4 pts from a possible 18 is relegation form.

The next run of games for those in the mire ,

      Scum v Leeds
      West Ham v Wolves
      Scabs v Villa
      Sunderland v Spurs

We won't get feck all at scum.
      West Ham will beat Wolves
Good time to play Villa so fancy they will get 1-3 pts.
Sunderland are dreadful but so are Spurs , 1-1 draw.

Calling it now , we are sleepwalking back to the Championship.

Called it a long while ago, the last game away at West Ham will be our do or die game, for both.

We?ve only won 7 games all season, it?s blatantly obvious we can?t score goals, this has been our nemesis for a long while, we?re back to the same old chestnut where the board are reluctant to pay money for a decent striker, instead they scrap around in the cast off bins.

Yep, always needed to score more goals and yesterday was confirmation that the set ups are back to not trying to lose games. Borefest reintroduced. Dan James ripped em apart down the wing with only 10 mins left to do it. Pity about his crossing but he?s bound to have list his touch. Needs minutes and could be a big player in the last games, given a chance. Time for Aaronson to be rested but he won?t be. Ampadu list his mojo?
Frustrating and we all know how these last few games are gonna make us feel. Still feeling on the slightly optimistic side though. Brentford well organised, technically one of the best teams I?ve seen this season outside of the big boys.
My worry is that the ER effect might turn on us. When the fans start to feel the nerves of the players the place descends into a theatre of eerie silence at times with gasps of frustration. I?m worried some of the players might not be able to take the fight on and step up. Hope not obviously but it had a desperate type of feel to it at times yesterday.

Its another point, but thats about it. Lacked any real attacking threat, urgency or ideas. What Gnonto / James have to do to get any serious game time is baffling, Aaronson back to his dithering best. Stachs general quality from corners not great, get him in the box, where he should be, 6ft 4 taking corners is laughable. Farkes stubbornness is both annoying and could be costly, seven games remaining, still think another 6-7 points needed

can see why Farkes personal positivity is treated as a strategic tool that allows his players to bounce back from individual mistakes into maintaining their focus thus creating a contagious positive atmosphere within the team whatever the outcome result or performance wise. but its the players on the pitch at 8pm that are responsible for logical thinking and decision making during the game flow. we withstood Brentfords traditional set-piece routines well in the early stages and also managed well to survive a couple of corners plus a long throw well.

so i will take the positives from the game plan implemented to just remind folks we have now got a team of individuals who have a high threshold for stress tolerance and who defend well.
Brentford also defended well against us and our quality in the final third was at a premium again, so same old problems finishing with the few clear cut chances and you could clearly see why they are seventh in pl table now three points behind fifth placed Liverpool and five behind third placed Villa compared to our rooted fifteenth placing, in fairness as they are a well drilled side with strong defensive organisation and are proving difficult to break down this season and we did well stopping Thiago who has been instrumental all season for them.

was disappointed to see excellent keeper Kelleher sat on the floor pretending he needed treatment for an injury so Andrews could bring members of the team over for a tactical chat.

with Wolves and Burnley the next visitors to ER we will need maximum points as the fixtures after the break feel like we will need to do the bulk of the points work at home.

all in all an honest point gained for me considering.

Wolves and Burnley are only 2 teams.
                  It’s 3 who get relegated.

And when a goalkeeper is injured, why does he not have to leave the field and wait to return again like any player.

Needed villa to win and spurs draw, 1 out of 2 at the moment, hate having to rely on others but we make our own mess

Spurs win would have been better as it would keep us 4 clear of the scabs
