Next season hopefully mid table, United are Back, hello
Errr, "United are back"? By the skin of our teeth and by the grace of others failures we avoid relegation (probably). I asked before, just how easily are you pleased, I guess I have some kind of answer.

Next season I’ll have you on block, no wonder so many have left this site. Maybe by the skin of our teeth, so what, what did you expect as a newly promoted club. We will improve next year, Burnley are down, I expect Sunderland who are on a downer to be in a relegation battle next year.. Yes United are back dic&head

I really hope we win out. Not out of the realm of reason.

You'll "have me on block", oh dear, how will I cope without you treating me to your unending stream of fawning praise for a twice failed coach who WILL get us precisely nowhere next season? And I'm responsible for so many no longer posting? I suspect you give me more credit than I'm worth (or maybe I'm just a bit more demanding of the club I have supported for over 60 years than some, who can't tolerate the club being challenged, on and off the pitch).

What do I expect having been promoted and with owners who, whilst NOT the actual 49-ers, have their backing and organisational clout? Better than wating until round about the last game of the season to see if we avoid relegation. If Sunderland can be safe weeks from seasons end, why on earth should Leeds be any less successful?

To me this was one of ‘them’ games, phew! Well played lads, a good result after last week it could have been nervy but we were focused and a great three points for many reasons…phew being one of them! Its a real team booster, three goals three different scorers.
DF imo will have them going for it every game, safe or not. I hope so!

Good, good win for all involved in LUFC. Sit back and enjoy the weekend…cheers!

Albeit having played an extra game, Leeds are only 6 points from a European spot.
Considering how in the pre Man City lightbulb moment game, 25 points were missed, and then some bad luck late in recent games (I know you can argue bad luck or poor game management) but the facts speak for themselves. Not bad for a first season back, with an average squad, manager with a poor PL record and a goal keeper & striker problem.
I'll criticize Farke at times but have to give him some credit. He seems to have the players in a great frame of togetherness all happy and fighting for each other. It's not easy to achieve that kind of morale.
                Credit where it's due.
Shame that Man City game wasn't the season opener.

Shame dcl and others didn?t give that effort last Sunday, but well done on achieving survival, never thought we would at times, Newcastle must be having a nervous look over their shoulder, survival and a cup semi final knockout, more than many of us thought was achievable, well done farke and boys.

No reason we can?t finish with 50 points

Great momentum to finish the season and carry into next

We will end up above Sunderland in table

Great result, puts massive pressure on those below us, all looking good. One thing is for sure, come May / June, club has to be far stronger in respect of players on loan / fringe players, Meslier, Byram, Harrison, Piroe, Joseph ( now injured ) Ramazani, maybe James,
some have nominal transfer value / wage bill etc. Time to clear the deadwood, extra funds etc for summer recruits

So now we're finishing above Sunderland and vying for a place in Europe.

What have you folks been smoking, injecting or otherwise consuming?

We won't beat Brighton and both Spuds and Spam will be desperate to get anything to claw back or retain PL status.

                          Safe? Probably. Anything more? Unlikely.

Agreed with most of that, but Ramazzani is doing great things whilst in loan and James is just a super speed machine, on its own worth retention as long as he gets played (old, old, very old story).

Obviously a pleasing result and a good first half performance. I do wonder why we often seem to switch into sitting back, overly defensive mode rather than just keep doing what has already worked well. Letting them have lots of possession increases their confidence and just invites unnecessary pressure onto our (sometimes) fallible defence. I didn't enjoy the last 20 mins.

West Ham lose to Arsenal next game and we are safe.

Credit to Farke , I don't agree with a lot but he looks to have done the job and the team have been superb since the Citeh game.
