Leeds Mad log in problems

Quick word regarding this Board & probs with log ins, re-joining & new members denied access etc, all of which have happened to me and others I know who are still stuck AWOL. 😕
I have a contact within Mad now if you cannot log in or can log in but are still being denied to post on here but you but you first gotta make sure you are not using a VPN or other proxy software in any future attempts to log in as Mad are right now in the process of having to make all their boards more secure following recent hacking attempts including a total block on China from now too, so all log in issues that stopped me from posting appear ok now.

Mad is still in the process of being upgraded with new forum software (probably by Mon/Tues next week to complete) which will fix a lot of the nasty-bugs on their very outdated old code system previously used, so hopefully none of that flippin annoying ? ? ? malarky within folks posted sentences to decipher.

I am happy to help anyone in UK, Europe, USA, Australia & even on the moon into getting back onto the Leeds board if you have had/or are still experiencing any log in issues and can provide the email for you to get it sorted at Mad by their tec guys for the coming season.

Sorry to say but this site is a joke now. When Mikelufc set up the LUISA forums even that site ran smoother than this and if I remember right that was a one man show behind the scenes. Orgs might even been a moderator of that site, think Worts was as well.

Half the time you can't get on unless you wait the length it takes to get an NHS appointment (only joking). I also get the am I a bot or not a bot thing. Half the time I wonder if I am.

The Ads look tacky filling up half the screen. Not a hope in hell would I ever use them links.

That's the negatives out the way. It is nice to see people still use this place, even though I hardly post anymore I still read a lot of the comments even the mega post thread that was longer than a George R R Martin book with as much politics .

Lots of information I have glean from this site over the years, some good, some not so good. So just want to say a thank you to you crazy cats that still post.

I was added here by ExiledWhite and Wortley, more because of the additional time zone coverage than any obvious online skills!

Wortley may rightly have superpowers, but mine only seem to be the ability to edit posts and issue the odd reprimand in the form of virtual cards.

DSG (Digital Sports Group) the owners of Footy Mad are obviously commercially driven creating partnerships & opportunities for brands & rights holders across the digital world so they defo needed a tech-refit to comply with todays regulated security requirements including mine.

Please note some email providers are known to filter out Footy Mad automated emails which is why when registering it can be problematic for some.
* Footy Mad cannot view passwords as they are encrypted but they can offer you a random one to get you connected.

Hopefully they'll leave the sticky posts alone - it seems as if they are planning on nuking any posts older than a year as part of the upgrade/overhaul.

I'm working in the "new" version of the site and it definitely took a while to get my act together to add the latest WC PL Table update.

That might be as much down to "teaching an old dog new tricks" and it does seem as if there are more features that might make such things easier once I fully wrap my head around everything!
