The coach should know his players - Farke just seems to play to the same system pretty much regardless.

Coached a lot of youth football and if your best players are out or if they can?t play a certain way then you adapt.

Piroe is suited to the role Farke wanted him to play so we never ever kept the ball up top - FFS we?ve all seen Piroe play and he doesn?t challenge for the ball in the air.

Gruev is a fairly decent player in a soup le pivot but having him as the sole pivot and trying to play out from the back set us up to fail.

It basically saying to Gruev you need to play like Rice or Rodri - he is r capable of it so Farke should know better.

Farke should have acknowledged it was his fault in part but he never does - if he makes decisions as poor as that all season we will be relegated.

The nativity was thinking Leeds could out Arsenal thr gooners.

We won the league last year because we had the best squad not the best manager and Farke has a system that works with the right players at that level.

Every week the PL presents a challenge often different and trying to just play the same way each week is a fools errand.

I hope I am wrong - it wasn?t so much that we lost yesterday but how we lost and not changing what was going wrong sooner.

Need DCL to be match fit and to stay match fit very very soon.

PS not having a go at you just unbelievably disappointed in the way we set, who started, how we played and the lack of ability from the coaching team to change it up at half time.

"Accountability can be broken down into 2 major components of Evaluation & Preparation, likewise for our Head Coach, too.

Evaluation is asking ones self 2 questions.
1.What can I learn from my play or mistakes in this game or practice.
        2. How can I perform better in future situations.

        Preparation is asking the questions.
        1. What actions can I take to improve my game.
        2. How to overcome my bad habits & learn from my mistakes."

Answer from Farke came there none (and never will)

😂 I'm big enough to see your take, particularly on Farke, for sure & I defo feel your pain too.
Be interesting to see what or if the 49'ers will do transfer wise & any reaction to the gulf between what we are now & aim to be this season.

Feel sorry for Piroe as still cannot fathom what his best role is to be honest - now more so than ever as the guy seems totally too laid back in everything he does, even in his interviews.
A 9 needs a bit of devil in his make up for me & presence on the pitch too.
Maybe we need a player with that bit of fire in the belly to put said lack of character into our tactics which are currently been played far to carefully in a diplomatic manner. 😊

Gnonto is another conundrum of how best to play him in a role - yes, he is still developing but into 'what' exactly as he can go missing during matches too on a regular basis.

Early days 'tho, still developing a few & getting others up to match fitness & another win will help further the confidence, hopefully starting with the Geordies at ER as another lacklustre performance wont go down to well with the faithfull, for sure.
As my Dad said 'we looked like cheap fire-wood that fizzled out' - so I defo wanna see more fire in the belly from the starting eleven next time out for sure, H.

Like the analogy from your old man but would add that you need the right kindling placed correctly to start a fire too.

Nice to see after only the second game it’s farke out again and all eleven were rubbish, it was all happy days last week after we beat Everton, never expected much yesterday and was disappointed at the effort put in and the overall performance/result, but it’s only the second game, let’s give it at least six games before we decide everyone’s fate.

To be fair NW IÂ’ve never been a huge fan or convinced by him. DonÂ’t like how he treats young players and criticises them publicly.

Think he is limited tactically and poor at managing games and making subs etc.

Yesterday he got blindingly wrong in the set up and how he wanted to play and only made changes when the game was gone - how familiar is that.

He was not very good in the Bundesliga and poor with Norwich - stat from yesterday quite worrying - he had never won two consecutive PL games until the win at Everton dived tailed with his last win with Norwich. In 76 previous PL games no run of more than one win!!!

He is in the bottom two or three managers in the league for me and we need better if we are to stay up. I may be wrong but just my opinion.

I don't buy in to the naivety stuff.
Players and coach have been involved with football since they were 4 and 5 years old. How can they be naive.
The world and his dog know what to expect in the premier league and especially away from home v arsenal.
Replace the word naivety with the word stupid.

I know we weren't expected to get anything from the game and would have taken a 2nil or even 3nil. But 5 is hard to accept and I doubt if we'll learn anything.

Nuno is about to get sacked by all accounts - he?d do for me. Iraola if we could poach him from
Bournemouth, silva the bloke at Fulham, chap at Brighton -any of those would be a huge upgrade. They are all tactically astute and seem willing to play younger players too - 18 yo played pretty much the whole game for Fulham today.

Nuno would be a huge upgrade from Der Fuhrer but despite Florists insane owner ours wouldn't know what to do or be intelligent enough to take advantage should he become available. Look at what they have inflicted on Rangers.

Something significant, or.predictable (or both), following MOTD "highlights" not a single comment from the pundits relating to Leeds (good, bad or indifferent). Shades of things to come?

With Arsenal scoring so many goals from corners i cannot understand why Longstaff did not start. I just dont get this.
