Everyone is deluded, especially mr farke, if we think we will gain automatic promotion, or even win the play offs, it’s all one big joke, I thought Saturday was bad enough, this was worse, a team that had 70 odd percent in possession and 1 shot on target, that is pathetic by anyone’s standards, also our beloved mr bamford had 1 effort all game, not even sure what that was, he must have paid off bielsa and is now doing the same to farke, no other team would stick by him, there’ll be no players left come June, gnonto and Summerville (who refused to play start of the season) will be off, rodon, Robert’s back to their parent clubs, knowing our luck we’ll be left with cooper and bamford.

As I've stated mate, I agree with the current criticism of certain aspects...but I cannot see them pushing him out before this season is done. Only 4 games, and possibly playoffs?🤔Then they will make a call no doubt based.Originally posted by Billyni View PostI want to be wrong and happy if im wrong
But..............
Maybe they should give Big Sam a call? 😁

Quite the contrary. Many of us have been up that hill towards hoped for success and victorious endings, only to watch as the wheels fall off and we "do a Leeds", again. Such memories don't fade quickly.Originally posted by Pacaman View PostFFS peeps, give it a rest!
Short memories springs to mind
More recent memories......Dudds was a warning, the Dull result flattered to deceive, then came Coventry and an even worse performance (despite the single point) against Sunderland. This from a team unbeaten in 2024 up to the Coventry match. There is a trajectory and it's not upward.

No deja vu with the bampuff saga during the MB years?Originally posted by Pacaman View PostFFS peeps, give it a rest!

Not sure that counts as a "short memory". we've been living this for 4 years. Not really sure why we can't find any other striker than him. Perhaps because we don't start anyone else at the position unless he's injured. I'd really be fine with starting Piroe or Joseph and laying it all on the line with them. We sure aren't going up with him as our starting striker. Give someone else a chance to save us.

I'm not gong to totally defend him (he's definitely short on mojo at the moment), but I'm not sure that Bamford really got that much in the way of service in the last game and, given that Ballard should've got his marching orders for his chicken wing effort that should also have been a PK in the first half...
That said, it was a flat and dismal performance by pretty much the entire team.
Stupid game.

Agreed on all points, particularly the service to the striker (whoever they may be), we are woeful at supplying suitable "feedstock" into the box. It wouldn't matter if we had Kane, or Bellingham, or Haaland if we don't give them something to get on the end of, and we don't.Originally posted by Orgoner View PostI'm not gong to totally defend him (he's definitely short on mojo at the moment), but I'm not sure that Bamford really got that much in the way of service in the last game and, given that Ballard should've got his marching orders for his chicken wing effort that should also have been a PK in the first half...

Team doesnt need wholesale changes, but at present we are stale, ponderous and lacking again a Plan B or C.
Roberts at RB, Gnonto for James, Piroe for Rutter and Joseph in for Bamford. Need a spark to get going again, also this thing of wanting to score the perfect goal - too many turns/passes etc, just create space and take a shot.

All teams in the top 6 places have had "hiccups", but as Billy points out, only Leeds have now fallen at this late stage into a position where automatic promotion is no longer in our gift. Look at the record of games played by Leicester, Ipswich and Leeds over the last month, LUFC is significantly worse than our closest competition. Isn't this the point at which we should be expecting maximum effort and determination? Even you can't suggest we saw that yesterday (or against Coventry etc etc).Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostOh no Ipswich have just done a Leeds, what useless teams there are at the top of the League

Err, no. He neither needs nor deserves a break, he knows what's at stake and not for the first time in recent memory we have a coach/manager without a plan (and certainly no plan B )Originally posted by Pacaman View PostYep that’s tension for you. Not just Leeds then is it lads. Give Farke a break ffs
