Jeez, some one shared the articles with me, my cousin who serves in the RAF & as you appear to have an interest in weaponry of land, sea & air i genuinely thought you may be interested in watching & reading the journal of land, sea & air latest tech development through its home page index.Originally posted by WTF11 View PostNot quite sure of the intent of the post? To engender an angry response from me, to get me to challenge the injustice of the way those use as test rat's during bomb tests? Clearly you'll get neither as I'm broadly sympathetic to the claims made by such veterans and disappointed that succesive government of all political stripes have failed them, repeatedly.
Some of.those affected may, as you say, be speaking out for the first time but the campaign has been "current" for decades.
If your reason for posting was to raise the subject of "theory" again, please don't bother. My opinions is that theorizing looks to future event possibilities, you disagree and suggest it can view historical fact. We're not going to agree, and of.
Its called a mutual exchange of opinions from my point of view anyway, not fisty-cuffs.
Hey-ho, think what you wish, you usually do.

Yes I have an interest in the armed conflict that humanity seems bent on perpetuating no matter when or where. My responses to those who question the technology available and/or used in previous conflicts is based in a very clear understanding of historical fact and a deep-seated revulsion of the modern tendency to seek to revise those facts, including assertions that the Holocaust was an invention on the part of certain allied elements.
The treatment of members of the British armed forces who witnesed nuclear bomb tests by the establishment is a matter of shame on the part of successive governments. The testing of more modern armaments is logical, hopefully more adequately governed, but hopefully never requiring of real world validation.

Ah, some common ground in there. 👍Originally posted by WTF11 View PostNot usually, always.

Amidst the civil discourse between participants, gracious friendship can be forged with priceless knowledge gained & hopefully an air of compassion via self-acceptance was always instilled into me - values that you often shake your head over on here via disbelief & bemusement over most topics discussed.
I was often told that some people are concerned that efforts to regulate free expression may silence dissent by opposition. To combat such behaviour best practice was provide justification or explanation in everything that you do & say. Be open to what arises & having a deep interest in others, being an active listener by paying attention to what others are saying, asking questions & reflecting back what you heard.
Valuing and recognizing each other's perspectives can enhance communication.
Some folks do that & some obviously never do.
Which is a shame cos valuing & recognising each others perspectives can enhance communication & enrich a Forum discussion topic, imo.
Just saying, politely.

Despite others assertions I never have nor never will claim to be anything other than mortal and with all the flaws that state brings with it. I do however know wrong from right, good from bad. I know with every fibre of my being that the strong have a duty to protect the weak, that the wealthy have an equal duty to enrich the poor, and that with great power comes great responsibility. The whole thrust of my having started this thread is that the United States of America can, if led with honour, morality, courage, honesty and determination, can offer the rest of humanity an example of what we can be at our best. It can also, if those qualities are lacking, show us what we are capable of at our basest. I fear for us all, honestly and sincerely.

And now we have another Fox TV host, the woman who was instrumental in some make believe wresting extravaganza and a TV celebrity doctor as the latest nominees, none with any governmental experience, some with little or no relevant experience in the areas for which they will be responsible, in professional or public life.
Put the nominees so far into a soap opera episode and no-one would believe it. Congratulations America.

Sounds like a real stand-up guy;
He may be anti-Islam, but I bet he'd be right behind a move to stop women driving their cars, being educated, and how much flesh they expose. Watch out ladies, he's after your rights (like a few other nominees)
And another little tidbit about this lovely man and his "fans" in the GOP;

The RAF has the highest percentage of women compared to other British Armed Forces. Women serve in all branches of the RAF & an increasing number are involved in operations now, with female pilots having flown operationally in Afghanistan & Iraq.
My cousin, who provided the UK Defence journal link I gave you, is a trained Aircraft Technician (Avionics) which keep aircraft airborne by carrying out maintenance & repair work on the sophisticated electronics on board avionics.
She is an avionics technician & avid Leeds fan, will no doubt be reading your link provided, which is a shocking exhibition of the thinking pattern of an Neanderthal man, imo. ☹
She plies a demanding complex role that ensures the high performance of aircraft radar, communication, reconnaissance & target acquisition equipment in a role that often requires much short notice travelling with flight crew, to provide ground to air with immediate engineering support of aircraft systems that are operating whilst in flight.
So an interesting, teccy based 100% focused responsible position obtained through sheer hard work mentally & physically.
Been painting my abstract picture stuff, of late with an emphasis on metaphysics currently, which is the study of reality & existence in who we are, what our purpose is, which is an interesting challenge for me chill out wise & then I will locally exhibit for opinion. 😅
Its my take on 'ontology' which is the philosophical study of being. It's traditionally understood as the subdiscipline of metaphysics focused on the most general features of reality, so at its simplest is a study of existence & my very 'full' existence is reflected in the abstract I'm doing, hopefully.
To replicate the brain of Pete Hegseth would be a doddle for me to produce as i'd submit a blank piece of grey paper for view, simple.👌
Some incredible metaphysics of war-art displayed in French public buildings & most countries too, done over the centuries giving representations of consequence of loose tongues at battle.

Just expressing my furthered views, for social-speak on all thread contents covered thus far - poetry, lyrics, development of war machinery tech so now art too.
Oh, a metaphysics example of how football was in local community once - passionate, nitty & gritty decent representation too.

What government experience did the bald trans pedo (?) airport baggage thief have as nuclear waste disposal DEI hire by Biden?Originally posted by WTF11 View PostAnd now we have another Fox TV host, the woman who was instrumental in some make believe wresting extravaganza and a TV celebrity doctor as the latest nominees, none with any governmental experience, some with little or no relevant experience in the areas for which they will be responsible, in professional or public life.

Ok, first off, less of the f00king bald insult sh1te. I suspect.the majority of those posting her and certainly LUFC supporters could be described as follicly challenged. You may one not, but inadequate testosterone has all kinds of effects.Originally posted by Oranje White View PostWhat government experience did the bald trans pedo (?) airport baggage thief have as nuclear waste disposal DEI hire by Biden?
Secondly, why should I or anyone else (you included) give a flying f00k as to whether or not PREVIOUS incumbents in the various offices of government had or didn't have suitable experience? They will be gone shortly and I for one (joined I suspect by many others the world over) are scared sh1tless by the current nominees as successors (thankfully Gaetz is gone, hopefully followed by more).
It would seem that as long as you have your nose inserted far although and long enough in Donald Trumps a55 you stand a reasonable chance of a role in his administration. Let's see who the next clown for AG is.
