At least (until now) we haven't had p a e d o philes, drunkards , mysogynists and convicted felons occupying the most senior posts in the administration of the (supposedly) most powerful nation of earth (not for much longer given Putins ability to play the chimp in the White House). And we haven't (until now) had those same incompetents using insecure "open-source" chat mechanisms to slap each other (metaphorically for the most part) on the back for mounting a supposedly secret military operation to "take out" huhti rebels who wouldn't have the justification of targeting Red Sea shipping (of ANY nation) if it wasn't for the USA staunch support of the genocide being perpetrated by the IDF. Couple that with economic incompetence never seen before in ANY administration ANYWHERE in the world (include North Korea), the destruction of decades worth of international relationship building, and it's a wonder we still have a world left to worry about.Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostDepends if they were caught/found guiltyLast edited by WTF11; 25-03-2025, 11:41 PM.

The chimp has denied farmers in the midwest of funds they have relied upon for years via USAID payments, he has stripped the systems used to pay US Veterans of resources leading to delayed and denied payments of life-essential funds to keep those who have served the US at home and abroad alive, he has conspired with his cronies to cut medical aid programmes assisting those who life-threatening illnesses, he has terminated research programmes undertaken by world-renowned and respected organisations into aids retro-virals, and preventative therapies aimed at combating future pandemics. The USA is experiencing its biggest and most rapid brain drain as scientists and researchers leave for other countries where there skill and expertise will be rewarded and exploited, and I use that word advisedly. And last but not least he has made a mortal enemy of the biggest trading partner of the USA. Wake up , smell coffee.Last edited by WTF11; 25-03-2025, 11:56 PM.

And its not just USAID cuts that are hitting farmers;
"In an article published on March 25, Gellman explains, "At the end of this program's cycle in April, school districts will stop receiving the federal funding used to place large, bulk orders with local farms, including Moon Valley in Frederick County, (Maryland). The termination of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Local Food for Schools Cooperative Agreement program comes amid a flurry of federal orders intent on cutting government waste and unnecessary spending. The Local Food Purchase Assistance program, for food banks to buy from local farmers, also was canceled for the upcoming cycle that begins in December. Without these programs, the small farms that make up the majority of Maryland's agricultural industry stand to lose some of their largest customers."
Define government waste and unnecessary spending.. on FOOD BANKS!???????? FFS
I could provide a LOT more.

Prevention is better than cure, unless you're a chimp in the White House;

Good point WS.Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostDepends if they were caught/found guilty
Legal system manipulation involves using tactics to unfairly influence or control legal processes, outcomes, or perceptions, potentially undermining the rule of law & justice.
At its barest - corruption in the arms trade warps the budgetary priorities of recipient governments, incentivizing corrupt politicians to divert government funds away from crucial sectors & services & towards defense.
With a larger pool of money available for defense spending politicians have more opportunities to profit off 'procurement-related bribery'.
This dynamic undercuts the self-interest of recipient countries, as the most cost-effective, security-enhancing deals are sacked for 'shoehorned' deals that entail corrupt commissions for a small handful of political elites.
These inefficiencies & distortions are felt most acutely by many citizens who are denied access to meaningful security & basic services ultimately.
Plastered all over the European press currently how arms dealing has compromised many governments 'foreign policy' of late, including the UK.

"Of late"????? I think not. Corruption in the arms trade is and has always been endemic. Which countries and companies benefited most from the arms race during and after WWII? The same applies to the various proxy wars fought between the US and the Soviets over decades covering the Cold War (not so cold if you were in Africa). You may be a Francophile but the French arms industry isn't immune from crossing palms with silver, particularly in the Far and Middle East.Originally posted by Monaco_Totty View PostGood point WS.

Fact is that Europe can no longer regard the USA as either a reliable or competent ally and therefore has to look to its own resources in order to provide a capable and effective defensive force, which for many countries, France uncluded, will inevitably cost more than it has in the past.

Thats a difficult journey you?ve been on Totty. Keep marching on and congratulations all round with the news of a new generation of Leeds United fan 😀Originally posted by Monaco_Totty View PostGlobal Instability comes from our own unstableness. Our own reliance on emotion which comes & goes is unstable - some may say.
Listened to a lecture today stating now that the system can no longer maintain its lies, a lot of people are coming face to face with reality & it simply just breaks them. All along they deep down knew things were bad but they had to maintain an entire person around 'denialism' to simply function.
So what happens when they are no longer able to maintain such a personhood ?
So my penned thesis response starts with 'are todays global leader sane' ?
I actually have 'bipolar-disorder' which was wrongly diagnosed as possible schizophrenia initially when 28, so i defo know what the definition of 'sane' means.
Each illness has key differences when it comes to its symptom severity treatments which I found out the hard way via wrongly prescribed meds back then.🤯
Craig Bellamy the Wales Coach has my illness as does Gazza the geordie footballer & Frank Bruno the boxer, also Stephen Fry & the famous writer Earnest Hemmingway suffered with it too. Craig Bellamy, like me, declined the automatic prescribed medication route by taking lots of disciplined psychotherapy help instead.
When I see & listen to many global leaders I can see & hear traits that are quite alarming & similar to mental health illnesses I have come across & am aware of. The fact that some prominent people in powers use of recreational drugs & alcohol dependency is concerning too.
Folks with bipolar-disorder generally alternate between periods of high & low moods, while people with schizophrenia typically lose touch with reality via experiencing hallucinations.
My general mood was either low or manic & rarely 'middle-road' with the constant added distraction of hearing 'negative voices' inside my head to contend with all day worsening when in my late 20s.
Eventual diagnosis was 'Schizoaffective bipolar-disorder' which can be difficult to diagnose because the symptoms overlap with one another.
Treatment of it typically involves a combination of medication of antipsychotics & mood stabilizers. I chose the 'therapy only' method of psychotherapy & counseling via a specialist research team based in Cambridge England.
My bipolar-disorder therapy is basically disciplined re-training of my mind 24/7 to re-focus & concentrate on the task in front of me, not easy going 24/7 for sure but practiced constant disciplined thought patterns with a healthy diet, no booze & plenty of physical exercise helped set my ultimate end goal to achieve becoming a Mum, all be it without the 'emotional ties' of having a partner.
I am now 38 & 4 months pregnant & as a Leeds fan I defo need of a fix of positive results for emotional balance, for sure. 😂
England did not offer me the relaxed karma I sought which I have now found around me in France to focus on mentally 24/7, of course this great forum of people around the globe who take the time to opinionate with me keeps my mind challenged & focused too. 😊
Not saying my way to combat the illness works for everyone but if I can help some to better life alternatives then I am happy to oblige & maybe convert a few to follow LUFC too. 👍
Human minds pump out 40,000 thoughts per day & are on automatic pilot & for many this leads to misery. If we do not take action to tame our minds then our ?mindstorms' will forever be dissatsified, forever wandering, forever jumping from illusion to illusion leaving mankind on course for disaster.
So yes, i do query our global leader mindsets !
Sadly, suicide is the biggest killer of men under 45 in UK, my notes state.
1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem like anxiety & depression in any given week in England.
Three quarters of common mental health problems are established by the age of 24.
I lost far to many mates along my journey & know many today still struggling but help is out there you just gotta voice it first - just like in the second paragraph of this post.
We do have a voice to use !
Just saying

And another couple, just to keep you "entertained" (or not, either way it shows just what a bunch of rank amateurs the US has running national security and the armed services, and what a dumba55 Musk can be, for such a "clever" man).Originally posted by hopelesslyoptimistic View PostPlease don?t
