Oz L - you do realise in the PL this is the close of both the transfer and loans in window - PL calls loans short transfers?

Pretty much every other team strengthened today - some with some decent loan signings. We did sweet FA. Every team likely to be fighting with us for relegation brought in players today.

Not only that we sanction loans out - window went from being a B to a C minus for me today.

Some good signings elsewhere but the whole squad needs to be good enough across the pitch and not confident we did that bit.

Transfer window started well, defence and midfield stronger, but attacking wise, we are a couple of injuries away from serious issues.
Underwood should have had a experienced / no nonsense guy alongside him, being this window so important, maybe a combination of in experience, over confidence, and arrogance from some, has cost us. Time will tell etc

Spanish window doesn’t close till 11.
No doubt we’ll be getting a top striker from there.

Well, I wanted to see how the 49ers fared when we returned to the Prem. I hoped for a lot more.
Time will tell but we have under invested and Farke has a tough job to keep us up. I?m praying that DCL stays healthy and in him I do think we have a true prem striker. Perhaps Nmecha does well but I feel I?m grasping at straws.

Now it?s confirmed for me that the 49ers are trying to build value on a shoe string. They can only be interested in increasing capacity, charging the earth and maximising merch receipts. Same old yank ownership for me and I fear the worst.

I?m pissed off with this window and now we look like jokes compared even to Burnley and Sunderland.

LUFC are not 49-ers priority. If we survive it will be by luck rather than good management/ownership.

Look north of the border for where Marathe and his acolytes have their focus (and Martin will be the first casualty should their results not improve).

Can’t believe we didn’t get Solomon. He knew the club, the manager, players and fans. We allowed him to go to rivals.

As for Okafor, was he signed after 1 good performance against us in the Dublin friendly, or was he always on the radar.

Someone has gambled a lot on Piroe, Nmecha and DCL.

Feeling a bit sorry for old Farkeyboy. Was he promised and didn’t receive?

Ramazani will haunt us. Farkey boy wanted goal scorers but was happy to let him go.

                So many questions.

Promises promises, even if made were they to be believed? Stupid is as stupid does.

49ers said they would spend £100m. That's what they spent. We got 10 players. So dar we have registered 2 clean sheets. In 3 league matches. The spine of the team is strong. I am hopeful against the poorer and mid-table teams. Not hopeful against the better clubs (scousers, shytty, gunners, spuds, cheesy).

To say we have gambled on a bunch of injury prone players is an understatement. How many matches have all 10 actually played in recent times. Just doesn?t make sense that the owners would gamble the premiership status and all the riches that come with it on these incomings.

                          Bewildered

Surprised we didn't put a bid in for Tyler Roberts and snatch him away from Birmingham before Mansfield got him. Dire.
