Didn't that pretty much sum up the Bates and GFH eras?Originally posted by Pacaman View PostIt is and Farke has encouraged exactly that so we?re not done yet. Burnley were a good example of how ordinary players couldn?t survive as a team, for quite a few seasons. Not sure how enjoyable it will be for us perhaps witnessing many more losses than wins.

I think you could easily argue that this strategy has been employed by Brentford, Wolves, WHU and Palace to varying degrees.
It will be interesting to watch the 3 promoted teams and see how they do. Sunderland has gone all in and broken the bank to some degree. Burnley has gone in quite a bit and we have spent a lot of spread it out amongst different players.

The annoying thing for me, or at least 1 of the annoying things, is that out recruiters couldn't make our club more attractive than the likes of Sunderland and bumley. Surely they are bigger shytholes than leeds yet they couldn't sell the deal to players we wanted (assuming of course that we did want them in the first place)

Ohh yes, from an Englishman who ran us broke to arabs who fleeced funds to a crazy Italian madman and his compatriot to a USA business venture, I'm well aware of the gambling we have taken, and so far I must say it's a gamblers' world . And we know how that goes.Originally posted by whitestomper45 View PostYou don?t think this club has had its fill of gambling with its future?

So what should they do just give up?Originally posted by ozleeds View PostOur window is saved. Apparently, we are bringing in a Specialist Set peace Coach. 3 years on the job; the master can't teach them.
We sit in mid table after 3 games and there are several games in the next run where we can pick up points.
C?mon Oz let a little of that sunshine through 😎

Early days yet ..........suggest more seafood to be consumed on here .......... to get your required jolly dose of Leeds United mojo back again........
Brit press saying people in the UK spend an average of over 21 hours and 48 minutes per week engaged with football content.......
.......... would suggest to create that euphoric & invigorating feeling lacking over Lufc matters that you grab a daily dose of seafoods essential vitamins of D's, B12's, B6 and those fat-soluble A's and E, especially in oily fish.......... so lets have you grabbing your canned sardines to provide those calcium, irons, zinc, selenium and iodine....... then you'll be flying with a feeling of just watching us win 3 points, honest......... but with less pain.

Don?t understand the lift and cosmetic surgery thing. The risks associated with surgery is pretty great given the emergence of superbugs and the occasional mishap.
Part of the wonder of a long term partner is the thrill of life and growing old together. Your body is a tapestry of stories your partner and you go through together
Your point on what is really important in life is well taken.

Time will tell but it definitely hinted at desperation in that final few hours.
My gut feeling is we blew our load and were close to the PSR limit , the biggest blunder was letting Ramazani leave on loan for the season with no recall clause , stupidity personified that .
